You are confusing Trump’s call with the Ukraine. Biden was tasked by the US govt and the western world to send an ultimatum and it was a LOAN.
Trump wanted investigations and told the President of the Ukraine to call his personal lawyer Rudy.

That seems to be the story that is being peddled.

Asking the Ukrainians to investigate the dismissal seemed to have caused a pretty strong reaction from the Democrat-Socialists.

I wonder why?

If this is true, what else must be true?

Trump did NOT link the two in a Quid Pro Quo as the rabidly partisan Democrat-Socialists and the rabidly partisan media did.

Biden, at least as he described it, linked the desired cash offered to the actions required. Cash for action- whether a loan or a cash payout, it was linked. This for that. Quid Pro Quo.

In point of fact, he said very directly, "If the prosecutor's not fired, you're not getting the money". He also said that his authority to demand the Quid Pro Quo came directly from Obama. We don't know if he was lying about this or not.
