Donald Trump was the third person in the room in August 2015 when his lawyer Michael Cohen and National Enquirer publisher David Pecker discussed ways Pecker could help counter negative stories about Trump's relationships with women, NBC News has confirmed.

To all those who are claiming that Trump didn't do anything...........

Your case is busted. What will you claim now? That it was really Vladimir Putin who was in the room, disguised as Trump, in order to discredit him? Yea, that's the ticket. It's going to sound a lot more plausible than some of the excuses which will be posted in this thread in 3... 2... 1... Gentlemen, start your keyboards. The contest has officially begun. I will be watching this thread closely, and will sell the best answers to stand up comedians. Damn, I never thought Donald Trump could end up making me so filthy rich. BWAHAHAHAHA!!

What we have is the building of mountains out of molehills, which means that years of turning over every rock has yielded little dirt on Trump because if they had better then they would use better....which means that he runs a relatively clean shop.

But the hour is late, something has to be done, if this is the best that the Failed Intelligentsia! can manage then it had better be enough.

good. i will put you down for a "yes" in the column titled
tRump was a knowing participant in the payoff of the porn star and playboy bunny with whom he had affairs so that they would not go public with their stories immediately before the presidential election

Some people claim Trump was in the room. Big deal. Does Mueller think he can spin this into some sort of criminal case against Trump? If he does his desperation to smear Trump is definitely clouding his judgment.

This wasn't Mueller. This was SDNY. And that Trump was in the room when the payoff was discussed makes him part of the conspiracy.

Betcha dollars to donuts that, in the more than 3 dozen sealed indictments sitting on the DC docket at this time, there is at least one of them waiting for Trump when he leaves office.

Lock him up!!

Clean shop: Trump Foundation, Trump University, Trump Steaks... the list goes on... Look up the definition of "four-flusher."

I really hope that they do throw the book at Trump for this. I hope they lock him up for the rest of his life and throw away the key. I hope that they go after his kids and lock them up too. I hope they lock up everyone associated with his campaign and his administration. I hope they find a few people who voted for Trump and lock them up too.

I hope the Democrats and the rest of the political class in this country throw down the gauntlet and let the people know that political outsides will NEVER be tolerated DC.

And then I hope the American public rises up and throws these elitist ********ers out on their ears. Whether you like Trump or not you should be absolutely apoplectic that the political class is using the judicial system to create crimes and railroad political undesirables. You complain about "banana republics"? Well, that's EXACTLY what you're creating.

16 associates during the campaign or transition busted with Russian agents. We'll see.

Trump has legal troubles on at least nine different fronts at the moment. All this means is the fall of the northwest wall of Fort Trump appears imminent. The fall of the northwest wall may or may not be enough for Fort Trump to be overrun, but even if it isn't, there are full on legal assaults on all angles of the Fort.

It appears that it being overrun is less a question then "how long can they hold out?"

With the FBI, the CIA, the full investigative authority of various House and Senate committees and about 7/8ths of the media on the job I'm kind of surprised it's only 16 so far. I mean, some of these people must have unpaid parking tickets or maybe they pilfered a grape or two at the grocery store. These are criminals, damn it! Find the crime!!

...as I stated many times before the 2016 election, you picked the wrong general to wage the right war. The problem with picking the wrong general is that you tend to lose the war.

I get the attraction to Trump. He was just the wrong guy to carry a legitimate banner. As a result, he set the cause back a generation.

There seem to be so many felonies that Trump and his cronies have tangled themselves into, no one is going to worry about the lesser crimes.

Trump should not have surrounded himself with so many unsavory characters. The fact he did tells us that he is comfortable playing in a world of crime and corruption.

This has taken altogether way the **** too long...this is what failing looks like because Trump is super easy to load up charges on if that is the way they need to go, which they do, because they are stupid and lack morals.

Governing through Trump, helping him out and giving him some of what he wanted and getting past this in the best shape possible was the right thing to do.

Instead they decided that burning America down to burn Trump out was the way to go.

When the New Chinese Empire is on the march.

And Europe is coming apart at the seams.

Except of course, it is not 'political outsiders'.. it is people who commit felonies. You do know there is a difference?

Right. I agree 100%. Now throw him in jail. Just do it already!

You guys are at risk of looking like jack asses going after Trump for piddly stuff. Just cut to the chase and throw him in jail NOW so that you can focus on restoring the Politburo to it's proper glory.

lmao at this point I can't tell if this is a serious post. I hope not.

In any case, the only people that are able to load charges up on are people that commit crimes. So I guess in one sense you're right.

If someone commits a felony, they should be prosecuted for it.

What part of that statement do you disagree with?

That's what I've been saying all along. You know he committed a felony so lock him up now and get going on restoring the Party to its proper place. Once the Politburo is back in control you can have your show trial thus convincing the people that going against your will is useless. You have GOT to prove to the people that the courts are yours, the politicians are yours and the media is yours. If you can convince the people that they have no choice but to comply you win. That's what it's all about!

Now get moving and throw the son of a bitch in jail!

The Republicans in 1998 set a precedent for future presidents, and that included Republican ones.

If perjury is enough to start impeachment proceedings, then campaign backed bribes to silence people ought to be as well.

I am not just serious, I am also almost certainly right.

That sounds exactly like what Republicans tried all throughout the 90's.

How many times do I have to say this. You're right. He's a felon. Put him in jail.

Your passive-aggressive slip is showing.

Sarcasm but no substance. So much for rule of law. And you're the one talking about anti-democratic regimes. Projection, such a common thing on the right.
