The police need more funding, not less. Tell Trump not to defund the police!
 
While I'd like to think they really believe those programs should not be cut - they very well may, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they benefit communities of...of....those people - it might just be a hilarious bit of outmaneuvering.

You have no idea what "community policing" in that article refers to, do you? You see those two words and immediately think some community policing is being cut.

Of course, the federal government is a very minor player in funding the police anyway.

No doubt. Meanwhile, Trump and his sycophants are saying that Biden wants to defund the police, despite what Biden himself has said on the subject.
