Trump Tweets Wall Already Built and Renovated?

Did I miss something? Is the government up and running?

Heh, heh... No. It is fully on Trump's account that it's shut down, and he's openly taken credit for it; there are receipts that he simply can't run away from.

Kinda sad to have to deny such a simple, obvious reality, but that pretty much goes hand in hand with Trump.

Sorry the shutdown is due to Trump and Trump alone. No amount of lying from the rabid Trumpbots will change that. I know I know, you wish he hadn't said the shutdown was due to him, but he did say it and we have the video that won't go away from him saying it. Sorry to burst your rainbows like that. I really have no idea what it is with the Trump cultists acting like there is video and audio of Trump owning the shutdown.

One has to wonder is there is ANYTHING Trump can do where the Trumpsters will say enough, and start to criticize him. He's on video saying he wants the shutdown and when it happens it's all on him, but the Trumpsters, almost to a man blame the Dems... lol

He's on video lying to the troops about their pay raise. And the Trumpsters do all sorts of mental gymnastics trying to prove he didn't lie..

It's cult like, it has to be. And it's scary as hell. If Trump goes down I really wonder what the hell his cult like followers will do.

Do you find it unreasonable to secure the border prior to addressing other immigration issues such as revising the H1B process?
 
He lied like that back in September as well.

He's also live, now claiming the border wall/fencing has been getting built, but the contractors weren't yet paid, and that's what he needs the money for.

It sounds to me like he's looking for an out.

If our borders are secure then why do we have so many people picked up walking through the desert? Why do we have hundreds of people found dead of dehydration and heat stroke while crossing the border? Why do we have so many drugs coming across the desert?

Our border is FAR from secure.

People die in deserts, thus making them an effective deterrent.

REALLY, essentially secure, that means to me you love illegals aliens being able to cross our border illegally. And you find that irrelevant that illegals are coming across. We're essentially secure, so we let illegals come in illegally, what's the big deal?

Not sure what the big deal is? He's had a well established history as a deadbeat when it comes to paying for services rendered. Why start to pay the bills now?

If the Republican Party wanted to build a wall, why did they wait until they lost control of the House? Why is it such an issue now?
Nobody in the government wants that damned wall. Hell, with the tariffs on steel they'd be taxing the taxes. Unless there's enormous production capacity sitting idle. All the Repubs want out of this is to make political points.
The Democrats should give Trump what he wants, actually. Call the bluff and leave the Republicans no choice but to bleed the government dry in the desert. Make 'em put up or shut up. That lot couldn't organize a dogfight in a Tijuana alley, let alone build a steel wall a couple thousand miles long.
