Honestly, the bafflement totally makes sense. Why would a Presidential candidate do anything that even gives a hint of anti-Semitism?

To be fair, I give out a decent bit of Trump hate on here, and I would never have drawn a connection between the Star of David and the red star shape they used in the ad if someone hadn't of pointed it out.

As for the believability of Trump/his people screwing this up, remember that Trump made a speech in Scotland about how great it was that they had voted to leave in the Brexit, when the majority of Scotland had voted to stay in the EU.
