Former President Donald Trump said in a court filing Monday that he "denies knowledge or information sufficient to form a belief as to the truth" about his company's finances.

A day later, he issued a blistering 1,100-word statement in response to his longtime accounting firm Mazars USA dropping the Trump Organization as a client and claiming it could no longer stand by a decade's worth of tax documents. Trump waxed lyrical about his company's "fantastic assets" and said prosecutors should consider giving Hillary Clinton the death penalty instead of investigating the Trump Organization's finances.

I have not seen so much as one charge filed against him. He has not been arrested, he has not sat in court for trial.

Just what is it you claim is being held to account?

The point being Donny has felt that is was ok to lie to the banks and associates for his personal gain. Then he became brazen enough to run for President and keep on lying for his personal gain. It has all caught up to him. The grifter still trying to grift.

After glancing at both documents, it would be great if they got him on perjury. I'm glad the NY AG filed both docs as part of the case. I do believe this is going to hurt him.

What's so unusual about this, is there's not a discrepancy in the numbers. Rather, in one document he gives a very specific, detailed evaluation of his org's net valuation, and in the other he repeatedly, vehemently, and categorically, denies knowledge of his org's finances!

The fact that the NY AG took notice of this to the point of including it in her court filings, leads me to believe she has it in for Trump, and is going to go after him with energy & serious intent.

He might be referring to the NY AG taking notice, and including both documents into her court filings. It might seem she feels there's value in them, in assisting her case. Otherwise, why include the 2nd doc?

Nothing has changed from my vantage point. He is still lying, still living large, still free, still in court, still the darling of the cult, still dying his hair, still coloring his skin...

Guarantee if it comes down to it, the government will provide 10 witnesses that will show that Trump knew of every penny his company spent.

I think everyone is getting past the fact that his company and his CFO were indicted for 15 financial crimes last year. That trial is still pending.

There is no way that Trump, as much as he holds his money high on his list, that he doesn't have knowledge of his company's financial standings. He does after all have to sign his tax returns.
