Trump went after the Food and Drug Administration, accusing the agency of delaying clinical trials for coronavirus vaccines and treatments as part of a “deep state” plot to hurt his reelection chances. “The deep state, or whoever, over at the FDA is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics,” Trump tweeted. “Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd. Must focus on speed, and saving lives!” He tagged his own head of the FDA, Stephen Hahn, in the tweet.
In a subsequent tweet, he hit the FDA for revoking the emergency use of hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus patients, a drug that Trump has touted since the early days of the pandemic even though there is scant evidence of its efficacy. “Many doctors and studies disagree with this!” Trump tweeted in reply to a two-month old tweet from when the FDA made the decision.

It boggles the mind. Trumpists say every single thing that reflects negatively against Trump is either fabricated or evidence that everyone who isn't a Trumpist decided for the first time in their lives to single-mindedly conspire to make Trump look bad. I thought 9/11 trutherism was stupid. I thought birtherism was even stupider, with a heaping mount of racist scumbaggery on top. This is beyond bat****.
Even putting aside all the other claims how on Earth, if Trump is so great, could executive agencies STILL be filled with civil servants plotting to wound him specifically. He's nearing the end of his term. He has had a never-ending loyalty purge going on the whole ****ing time. How could there possibly be an entire agency plotting against him? How?
Just imagine how far up your own ass you've got to have lodged your head to think that people who have spent their lives in areas of the medical profession and X number of years in the FDA would go from working to make sure medicine/devices are safe and effective...
....to knowingly getting people killed just to make Trump look bad?
Think of the kind of depraved/evil mind required to conclude that that is what is going on; that all these people in the FDA suddenly switched from preventing death to causing it, just to spite Trump.
