Trump team appeals ruling about Fani

This is no surprise as Trump's lawyer said they would, but they appealed today.

"WASHINGTON -- Lawyers for Donald Trump and several co-defendants filed an emergency appeal Monday of a Georgia judge's decision allowing Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to stay on the sweeping election fraud case against the former president. Trump and his codefendants say the ruling doesn't go far enough by just forcing out special prosecutor Nathan Wade."

The judges ruling isn't going to be overruled.

It is just another opportunity to delay the case, thanks to Fanni.
 
They are wasting time...there was no financial gain...she wasn't seeking to delay they case as long as possible in effort for her ex boyfriend to earn. more money...in fact, she wanted an expedited calendar....and Wade is no longer on the case...so, where is the conflict? Any presumed conflict is now gone...they are going to lose this and are simply trying to waste time....why doesn't your boy want to actually get these trials behind him if he is innocent?

Cheeto would be doing the same thing if it was a white male prosecutor having sex with one of his subordinates.

It is about his desire to avoid consequences.

This specific delay would not have been possible without Fanni's mistakes.

except she isn't wrong by making her comments about racism related to the case....she has a shit ton of mail and phone records in reference to that...including a guy who was arrested for making racist threats and it was all related to this case.
 
It's another attempt to delay. If the appeal judges have a hair on their asses, they won't allow a stay.

They would have found something on anyone. You could have Saint Francis of Assisi as the DA, and they'd find a reason to argue it.
 
"The motion notes that the Court found that Willis’ actions created an appearance of impropriety and an 'odor of mendacity' that lingers in this case, but it nonetheless refused to dismiss the case or disqualify her," according to the filing.

The appearance of impropriety was the professional/personal relationship. That has been dissolved. Wade is gone.

I'm sure that she is getting plenty of racist hate. That is what MAGA is.

That doesn't mean that her mistakes becoming part of the case have anything to do with race. She f'd up, and a white male who made that same mistake while prosecuting Donald Trump would have had to deal with the same things that Fanni has.

How many times were Leticia James' or Jack Smiths held up because of this type of thing?

Trump was going to bring up everything they could. This Fanni situation is something extra that she gave them. Anything else they could have brought up will still be brought up. They didn't have to sacrifice anything to bring up this situation.
 
I can 100% understand her comments in church and her comments in church aren't as the DA but as a participant in church....why would someone interfere with a person's free speech or religious rights? If you think that DT doesn't look down on her because she is a black woman, you are fooling yourself.

Yea, he went after them, but there wasn't anything he could use to delay the case the way he has here.

Because they are responsible with the public trust.

I'm not suggesting her free speech rights.

I am suggesting that people like her who bring up racism to distract from her mistakes should be ashamed of themselves.

The Trump team is trying to question his ethics...the judges ethics...the only one he isn't questioning is the glaring conflict of interest of the judge he appointed sitting over his case in Florida...that is a glaring conflict of interest.
