Former US President Donald Trump sued Hillary Clinton and several other Democrats on Thursday, alleging they attempted to rig the 2016 US presidential election by fabricating a conspiracy theory tying his campaign to Russia.

"Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty," reads the lawsuit, filed in a federal court in Florida.

Meanwhile, a flashback:

A Hillary Clinton campaign operation to plant a false rumor about Donald Trump setting up a “secret hotline” to Moscow through a Russian bank was much broader than known and involved multiple U.S. agencies, according to declassified documents and sources briefed on an ongoing criminal investigation of the scheme.

In addition to the FBI, the 2016 Clinton campaign tried to convince the Obama administration’s State Department, Justice Department and Central Intelligence Agency to look into the hoax, and continued pressing the issue even after Trump was inaugurated in January 2017.

The goal was to trigger federal investigative activity targeting her Republican rival and leak the damaging information to the media.

“The Clinton machine flooded the FBI with pressure from a number of angles until investigations of Trump were opened and reopened,” said one of the briefed sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive law enforcement matter. "The deception was wide-ranging."

Does Orange Marmalade also plan to sue the CIA?

As for Zero Hedge,

CONSPIRACY-PSEUDOSCIENCE

Sources in the Conspiracy-Pseudoscience category may publish unverifiable information that is not always supported by evidence. These sources may be untrustworthy for credible/verifiable information; therefore, fact-checking and further investigation is recommended on a per article basis when obtaining information from these sources. See all Conspiracy-Pseudoscience sources.

  • Overall, we rate ZeroHedge an extreme right-biased conspiracy website based on the promotion of false/misleading/debunked information that routinely denigrates the left.

Wait until he figures out each of these persons is entitled to discovery and to depose him under oath...

As a malignant narcissist, the biggest fear Donald Trump has is of just fading into not mattering. He will keep trying to fan and stoke the fear, the anger, the hate, and the division. That's what he lives for. I think at this point the best thing to do is to just stop paying attention to this sad individual. He is a poor tortured soul. I don't know how much his dad must have crushed his self-esteem growing up, or maybe his mom coddled him too much, or some combination. Both routes can lead to narcissism. The best thing he can do for himself at this point is to seek some therapy.

Wonder how quickly this one will be thrown out of court

It got the Trump lovers all hot and horny.

Until someone explains to them that discovery, depositions, and testimony go both ways in a civil suit.

Can you image the subpoenas and testimony by Trump** under oath to questions being asked by DNC lawyers?

It would be wonderful.

But the reality is that it will never get to that stage, this is a PR stunt to further solicit grifts from the faithful.

He knows that it will never make it that far. He is playing to the Qanon/MAGA idiots to keep the grifting going.
Bingo. I smell another fund raising avenue. I guess buying him a new plane was not a winner. It is amazing how many people feel a "billionaire" is short of money and needs charity.

That is why this suit will go nowhere. It's another con to milk the sheep.

He's a billionaire that needs his country back

Are you ready for that?

LMAO

I want to know how, as a private person he can file a RICO change against Hillary Clinton? Maybe one of the legal minds on the forum fill clear this up because I smell excrement by the ton being shoveled. fact and furiously.

Trump's civil suit invokes the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, commonly used to prosecute organized crime, to claim Clinton and top Democrats "orchestrated an unthinkable plot" to damage his campaign.

LMAO
It was never his country. He doesn't get it back. Step back from the QAnon punchbowl.

I am afraid this isn't Trumps country. It's every Americans country. And if Trump would start acting like an adult American, maybe we would give him the time day. Right now, all he's got is Putin and a whole bunch of deplorables.

This is now the 3rd thread on this....
That's it? Only three?

I was gonna start one myself, but then I said to myself, "Humbolt. Get a hold of yourself. You have a long and unbroken trend of never, ever starting a thread here over more than a thousand years."

Okay, 9 years, but I'm close, anyway. Oh, all right. Not close. But be that as it may, even though my fingers were twitching, I restrained myself. And that's what I call self discipline. You can thank me later.

That's what people mean who love America. 'My' equals real Americans. Not socialist who inspire to graduate to communism.

I just looked at the complaint. He didn't file a RICO charge because he can't- as you alluded to. But he and is douchebag lawyers decided to be cute. After naming each defendant they then indicated (Collectively the RICO defendants). And from there on referred to them as RICO defendants so it might look like he filed a RICO charge.

Conman to the end.

Some lead, the rest follow.

Can't have all chiefs and no Indians.

I didn't say it was my country. You, on the other hand, said this was Trump's country. Fail less, VySky. If that is even possible.
No.. I said your country based on my observations relative to your postings. Hence, my additional comment. :)

I suspect Trump and his team will be about as successful in this court case as they have been in the stolen/rigged election scam.
