Trump stokes the violence on Jan. 6th, now blames Pelosi for it...

I recognize the sarcasm and share your view but it would not have mattered if she did. Hell his own VP, his puppy dog McCarthy, his daughter and even Hannity begged him to do something and instead he watched it on TV reveling in his perceived glory. He is disgusting and if elections are allowed to be free and fair his filthy self will never see the inside of the Oval Office again.
and yet like I said there are MILLIONS and Millions of Americans following him and believe every word he says
and THAT should WORRY the rest of us
Have a nice day

i'm not totally convinced that the people that still support him have no integrity in their own lives and would support another insurrection attempt.

The former guy is doing what he does best and blaming someone else for his shortcomings. Typical.

He KNOWS all he had to do was pick up the ****en phone. As it turned out, Pence did it.

We agree about a lot, and yes, all he had to do was pick up the phone and it would have been resolved earlier. There are several witnessess who have said publicly that he watched TV and loved it. but ya know, the part about Pence, those were the reports shortly after the event, but this is an article that clarifies that,

"Alternative reports asserted that Miller had spoken with Vice President Mike Pence about the decision. But that would have been more of a courtesy to keep the White House informed, the source familiar told Military Times, not a request for permission."

In case there are any trumpnuts reading this, or in case trump himself wants to know what happened, the article above doesn't name Nancy at all.

"So when chaos unfolded Wednesday afternoon and reports surfaced that there had been a request for additional Guard troops and the Defense Department had denied it, here’s what really happened.

Because of D.C.’s finicky federal status, any entity ― whether its the mayor, or the Interior Department, which controls federal parks within the District ― has to put in a request for National Guard troops through the Army secretary, who gets it endorsed by the defense secretary.

The Capitol’s request for Guard back-up went beyond what Bowser had already gotten approved, so it needed a new sign-off.

“We quickly worked to move our resources forward in support of Metro PD and the Capitol Police,” McCarthy said Thursday.

The process took about an hour, the source familiar told Military Times, from the time McCarthy received it around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

“We wanted to make sure, based off what we saw developing, that that was an acceptable use, all the way up to the SECDEF, which didn’t take long,” the source said, including about half an hour spent relaying the request to acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller."

If the current 1/6 committee were actually conducting a real investigation, questions to Pelosi would indeed be a big part of it as would questions to the FBI. But no, that committee is nothing but a partisan joke.
what are you babbling about now?

Which is crazy because they're saying the paperwork prevented the NG from arriving, and it took half an hour to get the message to Chris Miller???? were they using smoke signals ?!?! Semafore flags ? carrier pigeons? Good thing the chinese didn't launch, the pidgeoens never would have gotten through in time.

Mitch and Nancy signed off on the same paper concerning the security of the Capitol during the time the EC convened. If you blame Nancy, why would you not blame McConnell?
Also, this article clarifies the situation well, you might notice, Nancy is not mentioned in the article at all,

Your double negative confused me a bit. I assume you are not convinced they do have integrity, and that they wouldn't support another event like 1/6?

Frankly, it's hard to believe how anyone can have integrity and still openly support Trump.

not was supposed to be now

still the idiot, Trump did all he could do to incite the violence regarding the insurrection on Jan. 6th. Said he wanted to attend, but SS said no, now blames the violence on Pelosi and the D.C. Mayor. What. a. joke.

he should be in prison....

He also blamed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, both Democrats, for not doing enough to stop the violence that ensued.
“I thought it was a shame, and I kept asking why isn’t she doing something about it?” Trump said. “Why isn’t Nancy Pelosi doing something about it? And the mayor of D.C. also. The mayor of D.C. and Nancy Pelosi are in charge.”

“I hated seeing it. And I said, ‘It’s got to be taken care of,’ and I assumed they were taking care of it,” he added.
Trump stirred his supporters at a Jan. 6 rally with his lies about election fraud, then said he’d join them marching down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol. Instead, he returned to the White House and watched the riot on TV. For hours, he ignored repeated pleas from aides and top lawmakers to issue a statement that might halt the violence.

defends Ginni and lies some more, whats new:

Authorities continue to pursue charges against those who attacked the Capitol, including a former Virginia police officer whose trial began this week. Trump himself was impeached for the insurrection, but neither he nor others who may have led plans have been charged.
In the interview, Trump also defended Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife Ginni, who sent nearly two dozen texts to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows urging him to overturn the 2020 election, according to copies reviewed by The Washington Post and CBS News. Democrats have been calling for the Supreme Court justice to recuse himself from any cases related to the insurrection.
“First of all, her husband is a great justice,” Trump said. “And she’s a fine woman. And she loves our country.”
The former president said he didn’t “remember getting very many” phone calls during the seven-hour period missing from White House phone records for Jan. 6. He said he spoke to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Rep. Jim Jordan and others, but maintained he did not destroy any records or use other phones.

dOnald j. tRump. A skidmark in the underwear of Democracy.

Yeah, sedition apologists would agree.
