WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump signed executive orders Saturday for coronavirus economic relief, upending negotiations with Congress after lawmakers failed to reach a deal on Friday.
The executive orders establish a payroll tax holiday through the end of the year for Americans earning less than $100,000 a year.
They also defer student loan payments through the end of the year; continue eviction moratoriums; and extend enhanced unemployment benefits that expired last week, but at a reduced level of $400 instead of the prior $600.
"If I'm victorious on November 3rd, I plan to forgive these taxes and make permanent cuts to the payroll tax," Trump said. "Joe Biden and the Democrats may not want that, they don't want that."

Looks like Trump got tired of Congress not getting anything done....he bypassed them

And when a court blocks it?

Perhaps Biden could use this as precedent for fighting climate change. Rethuglicans in Congress won't let him bring our pollution under control? No problem!
“ the wind blew and the **** flew.”
Trump just crapped on the board and knocked all the pieces over......
Actually he just took a huge dump on the Constitution and wiped his ass with the original stolen from the National Archives Building.
No matter how this plays out it should expedite things. This is a good look to those who badly need the money. This makes the Democrats look bad. Perhaps this act will speed things up at minimum.
Looks like we got us a ball game!
When one discovers all the crap the Democrats were trying to pass through that had nothing to do with this pandemic, most voters would be disgusted because they learn that the Democrats are not really interested in those who are really hurting. The bill is thousands of pages long and the crap tucked in between the pages is disgusting. Some of the **** they had in that bill passed in the House included no voter ID needed, no signature verification, mail in voting in all states, and government assistance to illegals.
Trump bucked people in his own party to sign what was in those 4 EO's because they directly help the people in need at this time. There is talk that the Dems are going to challenge his EO's in court. Let them because if they do and it holds up the needed assistance Trump is willing to offer, then they will pay the consequences.
So if you're stuggling, **** the constitution? Seems about par for the "conservative" course.Do you think those who are struggling to get by really care?
This thread should be fun. We'll get to find out how many of Trump's supporters failed civics. I would reckon about 90% of them.
