Trump sets convention tone by claiming without evidence Democrats will steal election - Reuters

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Reuters) - Republicans opened their national convention on Monday by outlining a dire portrait of America if Democrat Joe Biden ousts President Donald Trump in November, adopting the grim tone that Trump set hours earlier when he warned, without evidence, that Democrats will seek to steal the election.

Between the pandemic & the shattered economy, Trump is getting semi-hysterical about a Dem sweep.

All their claims are empty lies based on fear, "Biden will give the liberals at our expense, take away our guns..."

They lie too about the economy, that Obama failed the auto industry, that Trump is responsible for the revved up engine about to blow a piston.

At this point, anyone that believes Trump's lies are either retarded or corrupt. There is no other choice at this point to being a Trump supporter.

I have a hard time telling anyone to abandon him though.

His unconventional style is refreshing to the political system.
