Moral of this story? Don't ride boats in international waters if you are coming from Venezuela or you could be bombed out of the water.

Drugs or leisure or fishing, you are all targets for the US military.

They were people in a boat in international waters. They were coming to the US! The military could tell because of the direction the boat was traveling.

This ship was sunk in international waters, FAR AWAY from American shores. What this is doing is giving Righties a hard......... because they love to think they are tough and manly.
I bet you would be ok with some country sinking an American ship far from any shore if some country suspected it was a drug cartel ship. Would I be right?

I can’t support extrajudicial killings on the high seas like this. It’s contrary to international law, and puts American vessels and citizens throughout the Caribbean and Latin America at risk of retributive justice. This is begging for a response, and not a nice one.

I'm thinking three destroyers, assorted other vessels and a pack of F-35 nearby can handle whatever "retributive justice" might come their way.

Let alone if there were even drugs on the boat. Sorta hard to confirm when you murder everyone and destroy the boat without even looking. Judge, jury and executioner right there.
