Yes, yes. We all know about the little stories you've made up to justify all your grievances.
Oh, like the fantasies the Bundys and their malcontent followers are playing out in OR. Or the idea that someone has taken "your country" away from you as if you have some kind of superior claim to "ownership" of the country to cite a couple of the most absurd and odious examples.Please........what grievances?

but it seems to embody your entire political philosophy.
This is from something that I wrote in early DEC titled "Why I support Donald J Trump". I might post the whole thing in the blog section here at DP.I became a Zen Socialist. So far as I know I am the only one. One of the precepts is “no work no eat”. This means that everyone is expected to pitch into keeping the collective going, each according to their abilities. The only one who gets to say “ I can't do anything" is a vegetable, because everyone else can do something. The statement “I can't do anything because I am a victim”, in Zen socialism gets one starving in the woods. “Let us know when you are ready to come back into the fold to pull your share of the load, and then we will then treat you as an equal, till then you are on your own” is the Zen Socialists view on that alledge reason for not helping out. Let’s call this tough love. Another is that all claims of truth must be verified through our lives, if the experience of our lives shows that something claimed is not true then we should not claim that it is truth. What this means on a collective level is that since no oracle is to be trusted the people must be the deciders. We must always let the masses decide, which usually means the majority but with minority rights as are envisioned in the constitution. The people must be told the truth, and the people must be listened too, and the majority of the people must get their way most of the time. Another precept is one person one vote, no exceptions. A society is made up a classes usually, ours certainly is, but the value of the vote, indeed the value of the opinion does not change based upon the class of the person. We are all equal when it comes to charting a path for this collective, the elite don't get to decide, the elite don't have more of a say than the street bum and if the elite claim that they do because they think they are smarter then they should be told to go to hell. The elites job is to understand, to plan, and to give the deciders an array of options and arguments for each, and then to carry out the plans that the people approve. For sure we should not take the elite bossy assholes seriously, as they are an affront to our morals. Because of the Zen Socialists fidelity to the truth withholding information from people who should have it as well as all other forms of dishonesty in the collective conversation are abhorred. Because of the Zen Socialists approach to life being a whole body experience all parts of the truth need to be told, which includes emotional truths, but since all parts must get along emotional truth must get along with rational truth, which means that emotional drive should never violate the rational mind. When we see someone doing something that feels right or good which is a bad idea so far as reason goes then we know we have a problem. One last major precept is related to truth being sifted through each individual but is so important in this time when this society is deep into decay that it needs a special shout out. It is that if something proves not to work then it must be tossed aside and replaced with something else, no matter how good the theory is, no matter how much we want it to work, no matter how much we think it should work. If it does not work it can't be right (at least for right now) , and we need to be aware enough to understand this, and we must want to succeed badly enough that we will discard whatever does not work in spite of our emotional attachment, in spite of our disappointment. We can't let our egos and fantasies cloud or even worse obscure our awareness of where reality is. We have to be ruthless about admitting the truth, and not letting our emotions get in the way of doing what we need to do, and not letting our heads get in the way of doing what we need to do. The Zen Socialist cares about the health of the individual as well as the health of the collective, one is not more important than the other. Oh, and one more major thing that needs to be pointed out, Zen Socialists believe that one does not take from others without consent. The program of the Americans over the last few decades, mainly at the demand of the Baby Boomer generation, to live high and charge most everything to the kids and grandkids by way of living on debt that will never be paid by the person using it is a wrong that rises almost to the level of evil. We modern Americans are certainly on the whole a depraved lot.
Ahhhhhh....... you generalize again usual. But to be nice, I again will feed your trolling habit. The Bundy's have a case against the BLM. The BLM has raped many other ranchers and the ACLU has come down on their side to file lawsuits. The ACLU has beat the BLM in court before.
Where have I claimed that I have a superior right to ownership the country to cite a couple of the most absurd and odious examples?
Were they responses that you didn't necessarily agree with? Reckon so....eh?
Grow up kid, or what ever you are.
Seems I reacted badly. The words hit, punched, etc. threw me off. True that women should give as good as they get and I have no sympathy for those who play the sexism card, as Hillary did. Good also that Carly was above that.Trump has made the case that She hit him first and fair is fair, if she is going to throw punches then she cant complain about getting slugged, and so far that argument his holding.
Things are changing in this country, women no longer get automatic free shots at men, we have had enough, both men and women tend to think that this is not fair. not right, Not helpful.
I doubt anyone cares.I want to thank those of you who have seemed to be bothered by my moniker so I put of an avatar to explain why I chose it. I don't know why I didn't do this long ago but since it seems to be such an issue with some of you lately and particularly in this thread that I thought you deserved to know its origin. To me it represented such a perfect expression of what he did to the country and what a lot of you would like to bring back.
It's so funny that you think so.
I dont think I have attempted to outline my political philosophy to any great extent here. Maybe I should.

Aren't you the guy that flunked out of college due to drugs? (You recently posted that here)

Should we take anything you say seriously?

It's actually quite sad and pathetic.

I said because childhood issues and burnout caused me to decide to consume the library rather than go to class, and yes do drugs...but the answer to your question is that I make solid arguments which often turn out to be near enough to a correct description of the universe as it exists for me to make listening to me a good idea.
Can we talk about Trump now? Maybe American politics? The direction that America is moving in....something interesting?
I know all about me, that subject is boring.
My sincerest apologies and I have sent you a P.M. In retrospect I can't believe how mean spirited my post was. Must be due to the terrible chest cold I have right now, that I was feeling so badly I had to lash out at someone. No excuse!
I have asked the mods to delete my post.
Do you ever sit back for a moment to scrutinize your thoughts before you click on the post? Progressives are the kings and queens of imaginary slights.

No harm no foul, you can say anything to me, it is only the doings that can be a problem....(well, most of the time, I am sure that there are exceptions)
Especially using my words, just get them right is all......
No - it is the person a plurality of Republicans are supporting.
But it is amazing, isn't it? Trump basically went on live television and called his own supporters principle-less lemmings... And they're going to celebrate it.
I've always said that I am an asshole, but honest. And honest about being an honest asshole. :mrgreen:I respect the fact that you're not one of the principal-less lemmings. I really do.
