So, are we deciding the presidency based on who supports Israel the most? I don't know for sure, but I am guessing that Harris, like myself and millions of others, feel that Israel is committing something very close to genocide in Gaza, and it's actions on the West Bank are also awful and illegal. None of that constitutes 'hating Jews'. It is a reflection of the political leadership in Israel where they have elected a leader of truly dubious character who likely needs this war to survive the criminal charges against him. Sound familiar at all??

I have Jewish friends who dislike what Israel is doing as much as I do. I don't dislike them for being Jews. It's basically irrelevant in our relationship. They are my friends regardless of what the Israeli leadership do. The biggest affect on our relationship of them being Jewish is that they sometimes share beautiful strange Jewish foods with my family if we are visiting at the right time. Same way I have Iranian friends. Absolutely wonderful, caring people. I don't hate them because of what the Iranian leadership does. I always look forward to catching up with them. I imagine if I met some Palestinian people it would likely be just the same. We can't go on branding entire cultures because of the actions of the few bad ones. That is barbaric tribalism at it's worst.

To be clear I like Jews and have supported Israel's since the state was founded in May 1948 I think. For the very many Palestinians who support Hamas their 'rights' include the right to destroy Israel and to kill as many Jews as they can while doing so.
 
I support Israel's right for a free independent state and the same for the Palestinians. Netanyahu's refusal to consider that possibility will only strengthen those Palestinians who want to destroy Israel and the cycle of terrorist attacks and reprisals will continue ad nauseam. Thankfully a majority of Israeli's want him replaced and it's only a matter of time before he is. Maybe then negotiations can begin on a two state solution for a long term end of hostilities.

Trump is now using the word, "Palestinian" itself, as a dirty word, insult and slur. Only people who would agree with that, would believe Trump's claim about Harris...

Adopting, supporting and cheering extreme positions (and actions) inevitably results in extreme responses. I'm an atheist Jew and I reluctantly support Israel's actions in view of the horror they are faced with. When your adversary wants every man, woman and child killed and driven into the sea, you can expect the shit to fly.

Ultimately, however, there will have to be a two state solution and a brief look at a map tells you that the only reasonable place for this second state would be the West Bank. It's disgraceful that Israel has allowed and even encouraged radical, fundamentalist Jews to populate that area. Eventually they are all going to have to leave and that, itself, will create a monumental shit-show.

But for now, with the horrific atrocities that hamas perpetrated and their cowardly policy of hiding in hospitals, schools and behind civilians, I see no other alternative but for Israel to respond as it has.

You do realize there a millions of Jewish people in Israel who oppose of what they are doing to Palastine right? Netanyahu is the equilvalent of a far right leader in Isreal, this is why him and Trump are buddies.

What IF Trump is wrong? Why defend Trump with an IF question. Either Trump is correct or he is not. What evidence other than is rhetoric did he provide in the interview?

I really dislike when Trump makes the claim of "everyone knows it" and provides nothing to back it up.

Agreed 100%. He's soiling himself at this point. He can see the writing on the wall and he knows that if he loses there'll be no way to duck the consequences of his lifetime of dispicable behaviors; he'll go jail and have to give up all his assets to court judgements.

He's completely desperate and he has nothing to lose because he knows what he's facing so you can expect the very worst from him.

Claiming the election was stolen/rigged is a forgone conclusion and who knows what other hideous plans he has up his sleeves. I'd put nothing past him at this point.

Imo both Biden and Trump are far too old to hold important positions of any kind.

It is for US citizens to decide on any age limit. In Sweden and the UK I would support a 70 limit for anyone assuming office.
