Trump Rips Into U.S. Military Leaders

Your reply is nonsense, Trump is the master of doing one thing while saying another. I heard him call John McCain a loser for getting captured, why wouldn't I believe he would say what he's accused of?

John McCain was a loser for getting himself shot down. You don't know what you're talking about.

trump hates everybody. He finds them deplorable. Oh wait.....

Trump has a problem with the leaders of every American institution.

Thyese institutions were the envy of the world, they are now being shattered and the leaders replaced by yes men.

People, this is get down right Eridanus.

Democracy is at stake.

If you want to clear up any notion that you called our fallen soldiers suckers and losers, it's best to spend the week publicly rekindling your hatred of McCain (a POW), your former 4 star general chief of staff who everyone trusted and liked more than you, and all your other generals.

That's guaranteed to clear everything up, just like magic.

The question is did Trump say they were losers and suckers. The proof is not there, an anonymous source that will not come out to offer proof. At least 10 sources that say it didn't happen and they were there, including John Bolton who wrote a tell all book and forgot to leave this episode out?

The question is did Trump say they were losers and suckers.

Specifically...why did he call them losers and suckers? And the answer to that is provided later in the article:

Trump, while standing by Robert Kelly’s grave, turned directly to his father and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” Kelly (who declined to comment for this story) initially believed, people close to him said, that Trump was making a ham-handed reference to the selflessness of America’s all-volunteer force. But later he came to realize that Trump simply does not understand non-transactional life choices.

“He can’t fathom the idea of doing something for someone other than himself,” one of Kelly’s friends, a retired four-star general, told me. “He just thinks that anyone who does anything when there’s no direct personal gain to be had is a sucker. There’s no money in serving the nation.” Kelly’s friend went on to say, “Trump can’t imagine anyone else’s pain. That’s why he would say this to the father of a fallen marine on Memorial Day in the cemetery where he’s buried.”

Do you have any relatives who were killed in action or captured? If so, Trump doesn't understand why they would put themselves in that position in the first place if there wasn't profit in it.

How these TRumpets justify this is amazing.

He has become part of them. It doesn't matter who they tear down to defend him. Defending him has become the same as defending themselves. There is no help for them. Lets just hope that once he is gone they don't become dangerous.

I guess, since military leaders didn't defend him, in light of his recent comments, they're in his crosshairs. Typical juvenile response from Trump.
And of course, the worst part is that while he can insult his generals:
Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 88
Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Homeland Security, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

They will be.

The transition of power will not be pretty.

It will be the cap to the year no one will ever forget.

^ The current Republican Party.

I'm so glad the Greatest Generation is mostly gone. They don't need to see what has become of one of our political parties.

No, not what the party became but the country they fought for and their brothers and sisters died for, became.

The fake reverence for our armed forces by the Left is hilarious...lol

Amazing isn’t it? If McCain is a loser what does that make an ex-ROTC kid that sought out multiple deferments for ‘bone spurs”, maybe a coward who didn’t have the nerve to do what McCain volunteered for?

Trump turns clean up in Aisle 9 into more spillage in Aisle 9.

Best business growth potential these days:
Owning a bar next to Trump Campaign Headquarters. Regardless of how comatose some of those people are, they have got to be looking for some liquid medication almost every day now.
