Just a little reminder of how Trump repeatedly mocks our Vice Presidential candidate, Sen. Kamala Harris and basically shows no respect for women or people of color.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly mocked Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris during his rallies and has used her gender against her. CNN's Anderson Cooper sat with Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee to discuss.

He caught himself on the "Especially a female socialist President" line, you can tell by his hesitation afterwards.

Where is the racism? Mispronouncing her first name? That's ridiculous. He does that to everybody he's running against.

It is a bit disrespectful of CNN to assume that any attack on Harris must be based on her race. This is overemphasizing the importance of her race. She is a candidate, just like everyone else. With policy positions, and a character that can be attacked just like everyone else's character can be attacked.

So we aren't allowed to mock the other candidate if they are black or a woman?

Maybe she is just a bad candidate and deserves to be mocked.

Mocking someone based on the race, heritage or sex and "mocking" someone is not the same thing. Do you really not see how mocking someone for their race on a national stage in an attempt to prevent them from career advancement is racist? Same for sexist?

I have no respect for Kamala Harris either. One can be a progressive or one can vote for Biden/Harris. Can't do both.

That’s who his supporters are: racists and misogynists.

Nice try but I think we all know the truth about trump and the gop.

Actually, it is pretty poor taste for any candidate for public office to mock any other candidate. I wish candidates more than anyone else could wearing badges that dropped points any time they mocked someone or made fun of anyone. It's sad though that we have to even entertain the idea that Presidential candidates need to be taught what most of us are taught in Kindergarten or before even by our parents, that it is wrong to make fun of someone, to mock them simply because they have different views than you or are running against you for something.

Elementary school elections are conducted better than some of our national elections, with better behaving candidates and Trump is the biggest reason for that statement being true at this time.
