The hatred he preaches is beginning to stir up the Trump-bots

Trump protester sucker-punched at North Carolina rally, videos show

The videos, which appeared on social media early Thursday and are shot from different perspectives, show an African American with long hair wearing a white T-shirt leaving the Trump rally as the audience boos. He is being led out of the rally by men in uniforms that read “Sheriff’s Office.” The man extends a middle finger to the audience on his way out.

Then, out of nowhere, the man is punched in the face by a pony-tailed man, who appears to be white, in a cowboy hat, black vest and pink shirt as the crowd begins to cheer. The protester stumbles away, and then is detained by a number of the men in uniforms, who handcuff him while he is on the ground.

So, the protester who was just "sucker-punched" is handcuffed while the attacker walks away. Very nice way to impress the gullible.

Further down in the article, there are statements from the local sheriff and the local police department, which just might lead one to think the Trumpster is hiring thugs and putting them into police uniforms.

Fayetteville is in Cumberland County, but an official from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, reached by The Post early Wednesday, said officers from that jurisdiction were not the ones who detained the man. The Fayetteville Police Department also told The Post they did not detain anyone at the rally, held at the city’s Crown Coliseum.

Sounds like both of you are for the first amendment freedom to "hit people in the face"?
I see you're both strict constitutionalists.

Common sense tells you that if you are trying to piss someone off, the reactions are going to range from being ignored to getting into a fight. No law in the word is going to change that range of reactions.

Perhaps. But using a sucker punch is a sign of cowardice.

Did you see the size of his hands?

It's also a sign of how far Trump's black shirts have come .

You can legally ignore someone. You can't legally hit them in the face unless it's in self defense.

Common sense says that's assault and battery and he should be arrested and prosecuted.

I prefer to call them Storm Troopers.

I saw a then, friend of mine sucker punch a guy once.

From that moment on, for that reason alone (though others later surfaced), I no longer respected him.

Outside of EXTREME circumstances, I detest people who sucker punch, especially men.

As the polarizer-in-chief, Trump's punchers and Trump's Islam hatred have been well-calculated and well-timed.

Trump is vastly underrated as to how well he plays the media, especially social media.

His Presidential News Conferences are a stroke of genius .

Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire. Not sure you can excuse the actual assault based on the fact that it was one of the likely outcomes the heckler intended.

Why has no one mentioned that the thugs in police uniforms in the article weren't really cops? or so the local sheriff and department are claiming

Maybe the dude that hit him thought they were playing a game? You know, the ones Blacks like to play.

In your next life you are likely to return as a black woman who experiences much bigotry and hatred.

The Trump sucker-puncher defenders answer questions as well as Gov. Rik Scott.

I see you AZ folks are closed/prop for DEMs and closed/WTA for GOPs on the 22nd.
I won't ask you which ballot you've signed up for .

I changed my affiliation from Independent to Democrat. I will change it back to Independent after 22 March.

I do love Arizona but the state government sucks like a bucket of ticks. As you may know the state government is dominated by and infested with Teapuplicans. Arizonans are growing sick of them. Before we had to temporarily re-register to vote in the primary 43% of Arizonans were registered as Independents. I suspect that percentage will increase before November.

Five Pinocchios for that one. From your own link:

"John McGraw, 78, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the incident, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sean Swain told The Post on Thursday."

You mean the ones where he says "I love you"? Every time I hear him say that the way he does I think of Jim Jones talking to his followers as they were guzzling poisoned Kool Aid. He has the same goddamn voice.

Every time there is a Trump incident at a rally, he gets more popular.

There was a very good reason Trump didn't clean up his KKK mess until after Super Tuesday--I call it the South--and Trump won.

This right-hand scenario was another deft move--he knew it would bring out Hitler comments--and he's winning on this one also.

His Muslim hatred comment yesterday will also help him in Florida--registration deadlines have come and gone.

Not to repeat, Cruz and Kasich are gaining here in IL--not sure who I'll vote for--not even sure which ballot I'll choose .

This is probably like that bs story about white supremacists shooting into a crowd of blacks at a BLM event. More bullcrap invented by the media.

He might not have been detained, then but he is now, and is charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct. Looks like the black man he hit will also be compensated after he wins his lawsuit.

The cops and the courts are taking out the trash.

Man charged wThe protester, identified byith sucker-punching protester at Trump rally

A black protester being escorted out of a Donald Trump campaign rally Wednesday in Fayetteville, North Carolina, was sucker-punched and shoved by a Trump supporter, several videos on social media show.
The protester, identified by The Washington Post as Rakeem Jones, 26, was being walked by sheriff’s officers up an aisle at the Crown Coliseum, amid loud boos from the crowd, when a white man in a cowboy hat stepped toward Jones, punched him in the face and shoved him off-balance.
But Thursday, WRAL, the local NBC television affiliate, reported that a 78-year-old man — John McGraw of Linden, North Carolina — had been charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct. The station cited the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Later in the Fayetteville rally Wednesday, when another in a series of demonstrators was being led out, Trump himself lamented what he called “the good old days” when someone who acted up would be carried out “on a stretcher.”
