He broke laws while in office and was impeached twice.......

Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, was impeached for the second time on January 13, 2021, one week before his term expired. It was the fourth impeachment of a U.S. president, and the second for Trump after his first impeachment in December 2019.

Clinton was impeached. Should this apply across the board?
absolutely .......

And for basically deregulating the financial industry ........

According to Wikipedia.org, "the repeal of provisions of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act effectively removed the separation that previously existed between investment banking which issued securities and commercial banks which accepted deposits.

The deregulation also removed conflict of interest prohibitions between investment bankers serving as officers of commercial banks."

and

"The Glass-Steagall Act prohibited any one institution from acting as any combination of an investment bank, a commercial bank, and an insurance company."

So, as a result of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, a commercial bank would be able to buy an insurance company, or a commercial bank would be able to buy an investment bank, etc.

and so the TDS continues "sigh"

While I wouldn't want to dester anyone from pursuing Trump, I am not in favor of trying to punish his example.

He acted as you would expect him to act, but only because of his tax cut was there impeachment or Trump loss.

I expect to have him closed out in the primaries.

God Bless Donald Trump, he was an American President.

Yes, it should. But the severity of the offense needs to be considered. Clinton had an affair with an adult woman and did lie to cover it up.

Trump tried to overturn an American election in addition to the myriad of other offenses throughout his term. If we use Clinton's actions to determine a president's retirement/benefits, then Trump should have been disqualified from running. Trump has had deviant sexual activity most all of his life and also lied about it many times over. And that's before the 2020 election.

Clinton also opened national security up for a blackmail situation if others were knew about the encounters. Meanwhile, Trump was impeached and the first commission was lackluster, and I'm going to guess the second commission on 1/6 will be about as exciting as all the other commissions that are usually a waste of time / taxpayer dollars.

An impeachment is an impeachment -- there are no severity levels to them, until it transitions to trial by Senate where the president is found guilty of the charges and removed from office.

If someone keeps important documents in his home or torn up in toilets, is a library necessary?

He broke laws while in office and was impeached twice.......
Trump tried, but because of character flaws and his tax cut, he didn't make a good impression.

But he did try, he was refreshing in that respect.

If had been convicted, I would agree with you.
If the republicans had any integrity and were doing their jobs as elected officials, he would have been convicted, the first time. Everyone knows the GOP had no intention of even listing to witnesses. Their minds were made up before the sham trials started. I realize the outcome is what it is. But it stinks badly.

I agree. I believe the Republican Senators should have convicted him after January 6th.

Can you collect benefits from a jail cell?
You want to send an American President to jail? Come on, it was the White Horse Tribulation 2020-2026 and Mein Furher screwed up so, no big time for him, let him go out with his tantrum, wasn't it delightful?

His forefathers had multiple health problems..and he hates vegetables but loves fat, sugar, and grease..
not sure that is the formula on which to base life expectancy. Some very healthy and fit people die while running or swimming.
