Trump has pardoned convicts Todd and Julie Chrisley who were found guilty of fraud and tax evasion and why?? Trump feels loyalty for their support.
Like his recent pardon of the tax cheat, Mr. Walczak because of a million dollar contribution that Trump will pocket.

It's one thing to pardon all the 1/6 convicts because he believes they were just 'touring' the capitol, but this is just blatant tit for tat corruption. Will MAWAs' make excuses for the chosen one?

The independent;

Don’t look like terrorists’: How Trump pardon of Todd and Julie Chrisley unfolded and what happens next"

I don't like it one bit and it almost rises to the level of the Bowe Bergdahl pardon.

Bowe Bergdahl wasn't pardoned.

I do not agree with this at all.....but, neither do I agree with commuting 37 death row murderers death sentences to a lifetime of state sponsored meal, room and board, and free medical care., and legal representation.

I have no problem with Biden's stopping federal death sentences, I'd like to end them all. Death sentences are one of the major differences between liberals and conservatives.
"It generally costs significantly more to carry out death sentences than to incarcerate someone for life. This is due to factors like longer trials, more extensive legal appeals, and the high cost of specialized security and living conditions for death row inmates". Also studies consistently fail to demonstrate a deterrent effect of the death penalty on crime

As death sentences don't reduce crime and cost more, it just comes down to retribution, something Trump and his supporters can't get enough of...

I fail to see a single death row sentence that has reoffended...

The fact there have been innocent people put and then killed on death row is enough to say it's a horrible idea and it is also not a deterent since if it was, the first execuation would've stopped crime, but it didn't now did it? Oh that's right, it didn't.

Let me make this clear.......you disgust me.

Let me make this perfectly clear, I couldn't give less of a **** lol.

I'm more concerned about murders committed on citizens, if you're really worried about prisoners murdering other prisoners, you're in a small minority. I suppose they're out there, but I haven't heard any movement to address this issue and I can't image there're many conservatives worrying about it.

Although in many cases it's due to overcrowding, and lack of funding, of course it's a problem, but doesn't alter the facts I posted.

Biden pardoned his entire family foever.....................or was it the autopen. Liberal outrage gonna liberal.

And what if, as on many previous occasions, those condemned to death are later found to be innocent? Too bad, right? There are no appeals from the grave.

The same can be said of someone who is in for life without parole.
Folks like Ted Bundy, Randy Greenwalt, and Gary Tison didn't get that memo.

Or a Life without parole sentence either. But we have seen those executed who were later found to be innocent.

Just a few that were given life , only to escape and continue murdering.

What are you talking about? A life sentence isn't a death sentence ffs. Around 200 Americans on death row have been exonerated, and over 20 wrongly executed-including a 14 year-old boy, electrocuted and later exonerated. Think about that; a 14 year-old child. This isn't a ****ing percentage game; it's people's lives. That's why every advanced nation, except the United States, has stopped executing people; the risks of making a fatal mistake are very real. One day America might grow up and join the rest of the civilised world who view 'an eye for an eye' justification for judicial killing as barbaric and with no place in modern society. And I don't want to hear any 'what if it was your child' mawkish crap. My position remains the same. This abysmal Biblical aberration needs to join the burning of witches in the trash can of history.
