When contacted at the beginning of the year, UF Health officials said they were still involved in the “onboarding process. As of April a news report said he had not yet begun teaching or doing clinical rotations. By the time this story went to press, UF officials had no response.
During Senate confirmation hearings, Ladapo said, “I couldn’t answer in terms of how much time I spend” at UF, and instead talked about how much time he spends raising his three sons,

His installation as surgeon general and recruitment by UF were both fast-tracked with the help of governor’s staff, Mori Hosseini, a millionaire Volusia County developer and chairman of the UF Board of Trustees, who is a major supporter of DeSantis, and UF Health officials.

UF administrators cut corners to make sure he got tenure upon being hired, a UF Senate investigative committee reported in March.
The committee found “irregularities” that “appeared to violate ... UF hiring regulations and procedures, particularly in the vital role faculty play in evaluating the qualifications of their peers.”

You know the GOP could run a popular moderate Republican Governor like Charlie Baker and likely win in a landslide and he would enjoy near Eisenhower levels of support. Yet, today's GOP is set on running the biggest assholes they can find, never get a majority of Americans behind them, and if they win, they lose the popular vote.
 
It makes no difference who the GOP runs they will steamroll the Dims. The Dims have no candidate who is capable of winning. They are the party of old white socialists. Two more years of this Sh**show with Biden and Howdie Doody would win 45 states.

You have no idea what the political situation will be like in 2024. The GOP may win, but they may lose again too. I can think of moderate GOP governors that would easily win, but ya'll are going to insist on running some asshole so who knows.

Here in America... these greed monsters are so atrocious, we can't even fix the Freeway system and the roads in our cities and communities. Right now I'll still vote for Trump, but if Trump and DeSantis both run to become the GOP candidate, and Trump drops out because DeSantis won the GOP primary, then I'll probably vote for DeSantis. I'd have to do more homework on DeSantis, though, to make sure he's not going to be another "Establishment" guy or swamp monster before I settle on voting for him. If Trump runs no matter what (as an independent or whatever), then right now I think I'd more likely vote for Trump. This is something I'll focus on later, though.

Biden proposed relief, solutions, in advance. What happened? Almost total G.O.P. non-cooperation, but they took credit for what they voted against

I would vote DeSantis because, as someone said earlier, he has less self destructive tendencies than Trump. Also, Trump will be 78 in 2024 and we're currently seeing what happens when you elect someone that old.

Get rid of climate change hysteria/alarmism policies
Remediative & preventative action on the bureaucratic causes for problems like baby formula shortages
Fix & improve the economy in general

I think if those two sit down and hammer out a good agreement they could. The press and the left wing like to paint Trump as a monster ego, but I bet he could collaborate with DeSantis much more than Biden is collaborating with Kackle Harris.
