I expect de Santis to be the nominee and will happily vote for him, He’s young, fearless, honest, and a good governor. And he can win. He will also undo all the trash that Biden will leave behind. With de Santis we will become energy independent again. He will get much needed immigration legislation through Congress because he will have a majority in both houses. He will be a uniter and not a divider like Trump and Biden. He will have the Latino vote behind him.

Trump needs to go back to Florida and play golf. Count his money and keep his mouth closed. Use the influence he has behind the scenes to promote the candidates and vision of the GOP.
America HAS NEVER been Energy Independent... and America HAS NEVER been "A NON-Globalist Economic Player".

----------------------

The House of Representative and the Senate -creates and passes legislation,

Section 7

  • All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
  • Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law.
  • ALSO SEE Section 8

The President

See: Article II

----------------

The President
(SIGN LEGISLATION INTO LAW)!!!!
(What do you think President means, when they say, "Get Legislation To My Desk).. It means when The people want something done, congress house crafts it, and senate confirms it, and it is sent to the Desk of The President, to be Signed Into Law.

America does not have a "Dictatorship".

Trump is a national traitor. He tried to overthrow our government.

DeSantis is an ignorant, anti-science, pro freedumbs, Trump disciple. But, he hasn’t shown his character to be as malicious as Trump’s.

So, DeSantis.
I don't think DeSantis is any of those. He just plays the role, which makes him a dishonest man lacking integrity.

I agree with a lot of this link. While I think Trump believes he won in 2020 to his very core and he will go to his grave thinking that (and I think it's certainly possible he's right), he needed to let go of it long ago. Had he been able to let go and move forward, I think he'd have an easy time winning in 2024. Like Maher pointed out clearly and successfully (IMO), it's things like this which would make it easy:

""And I just thought, you know, if Trump could just let go of the election, which he can't, he can win this so easy because he can win just on Drag Queen Story Hour," Maher said."

And no doubt I agree with this. It's been almost shocking to watch DeSantis soar as the Dems continue their Trump witch hunts.

"The Jan. 6 hearings have been very compelling to watch, but a little part of me thinks this might actually be bad for the Democrats, because if Trump is too weak to win the Republican nomination, it's going to be DeSantis, and DeSantis could beat Biden."

He does not believe that. He's got you suckered again.

I think there is a decent percentage of Republicans who know that Trump is horrible for our country. I think a lot would love to move past this nightmare. Ultimately, most would still vote for Trump again because the Democratic candidates are also horrible. I also think most Trump voters align with Trumps racist views and hatefulness.

Unfortunately 2024 will be racism vs wokeism.
Nobody is worse than trump.

Trump lost because of the pandemic. He still easily could have won if he would have shown just a little leadership. If Trump would have accepted defeat and allowed a smooth transition he 100% would win in 2024. He was short sighted in his actions and it cost him. He has lost support from a good chunk of Republicans. If the Democrats choose to only pick a gay, transgender, black candidate instead of nominating the best person for the job I could easily see Trump winning again.

It’s time to kick Trumpism and wokeism to the curb. It’s time for good rational people to lead this country.
He didn't "easily win" in 2016 -- 70,000 votes across 3 key states.

Write in Mickey Mouse. I've done it before.
I wonder how DeSantis and Trump would react to a Mickey Mouse candidacy..........

TRUMP: The guy is clearly a cheese-eater, AKA "a rat."....and his girlfriend is so ugly. The way she dresses is pathetic. Check out that giant bow on her head.
In addition, many, many people...the best people...are saying that Mickey destroyed the careers of many of his rivals.
Have you seen Donald Duck lately? Of course not.....the word is that the Mickster had him committed to a hospital for the criminally insane.
What about Goofy?
Many people are saying that Mickey outed Goofy's girl, Clarabelle, as a transexual bull...unfortunate looking woman.....anyway....MGGA!! "Make Goofy Great Again"

DESANTIS: Well, Mickey Mouse....never seen a mouse that big....so Mickey Rat.... is part of the Disney cabal. Need I say more?
I stopped him from teaching CRT at Epcot.
I've stopped wokeism every time the DisneyRat has tried to foist it onto our chldren.......I believe DisneyRat is trying to legitimize LGBTQ rodents as "normal".
That's all I've got for now.....I have a very important political theater photo-op to attend.

Desanctis has his faults. Trump is a walking disaster, an incredibly destructive immoral idiot who became a domestic enemy of the Constitution when he decided to try to overturn an election. The first, thank you.
Everyone has faults and flaws including you and Jesus isn't available to run at this time.
No one has yet announced that they are running officially. That isn't going to happen until after the 2022 elections.

The poll is an exercise in futility until after the Nov. elections. Right now, DeSantis is running for re-election. His chances to win are looking very good. Winning re-election, the last thing DeSantis will do is turn around and then announce he is running for president.

If Trump decides to run, he will face challengers. Who those challengers will be, are not known at this time.

I want Trump to win in 2024 and be as vindictive and hateful as possible to the left for 4 years straight. Roe V. Wade was just a good start. It's time to go after the democrat leadership the same way they went after Trump. Payback's A Bitch! Then it will be great to have DeSantis for 8 years.

TRUMP 2024!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, Trump can’t do that. Didn’t you notice? He can’t help himself from being vindictive and hateful to everyone — immigrants, illegals, refugees, women, the media, blacks, Muslims — not just the left. In fact, he probably was less hateful to the left than to the groups listed.

Too Many "White Skin People" have been deluded for centuries looking for a "Great White Savior" to Perform Miracles in their lives to erase their own ineptitude and lack of ability to respect and appreciate "Representative Democracy".
They have been and many still are "Irresponsible" and look for a shit talking dictator to rule over them and keep them filled with delusional thinking white skin is superior, as they make themselves more "inferior to life itself", by their own vain expectations.
They have made themselves "generationally poor" by worshiping the wealthy, lost within racist ignorance and consumed in self delusional vanity.
Expecting someone to make a magical miracle happen in their lives.

They are like "Modern Day Serfs"... still lusting over materialism and vanity
thinking it will make them something they have no invested the labors to be and become as individuals.

These are the same type of white people who are self delusional enough to think that life would "stop" and "go backwards" because they can't keep up with the every changing world.
Then crying and whining talking about "We've been left behind"... when their whole mentality is to run backwards chasing the past.

---------------

The More Educated and Self Motivated To Learn and Grow Type of White Skin People, are making their lives work, they are not out creating Political Stupidity and Political Madness.
1656186161865.png

Instead they invest themselves in Learning, and Learning and Growing Within a Diverse Racial and Ethnicity Society. They know yesterday is gone, and progress is ALWAYS the ways that the Future Develops and Unfolds into the lives of people and society.
They don't expect a President to be a Magician, and they damn sure don't expect a President to be a Dictator.
They UNDERSTAND a President has an Agenda for Advancing ALL OF SOCIETY... Not some Crackpot Tin Hat Lunatic, like Trump and DeSantis who are hung up on "one party ignorances".

I don’t think it would have been a land slide but he would have won for sure. It’s tough to beat an incumbent. It’s tough to beat a President in the middle of a war. Similarly, If Trump would have brought the nation together to fight a common enemy(C19) and showed progress people would have been hesitant to replace him.

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's Trump's decision.

If he runs, he wins. If he doesn't run, DeSantis wins.

(assuming, of course, the Dems and Trump haters don't get away with election fraud again)
Good points. What would remain to be seen however is which one of the two helps the down ballot more, Trump or DeSantis?

I currently believe that person to be DeSantis if the double senate loss in Georgia in 2018 under Trump is a good indication.

GA isn't a good indication. The GOP Elites control GA. Other states...not so much. And the GOP Elites would rather see a Democrat win if they can't win, themselves.

I think you may have missed the fact that people knew before Trump enterted the political arena that he was not of the integrity nor character or the respect for all humanity, to be in any aspect of the Nations Political Concerns.

Trump NEVER had that capability, the man was divisive and egomaniac long before he got into the political arena, this is the same man that screwed his own family of their inheritance, he is the same man with his daddy who got sued for racial discrimination, he is the same man who engaged money laundering, looting his own casino's and the same man who created the rip off of investor and New Jersy with the Taj Mahal Project... that resulted to be nothing more than a money washing machine that he looted after fleecing contractors and vendors. If an honest investigation would be done, I'm sure it would uncover that he had something to do with the helicopter crash that killed the Casino executives. "they knew too much" about what he had done to the Casino's.

His TV show was all about "insulting former entertainers" who had fallen on hard time. He sat there with his kids like a Serf Master degrading people they saw and considered as no more than like "serfs".

Many white people can't see the truth of these things, because they were groomed and raised with bias, discrimination and habitual mentality of demeaning people, while wallowing in their own vanity and egotism. To "many" of them, all they saw was something that entertained them by watching someone do what they had been groomed their entire lives to be and do to others. Trump's show had people 'mocking and making demeaning fun" of the same people they once revered as top entertainers.
  • The More Intellegent people would not and did not devalue themselves to even watch such a disgraceful farce of madness.

It's why he could say, "he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and people would still cling to him, because he'd already proved it the way the demeaned the same entertainers people had one placed so high in their consideration of.
Far too many white people simply don't think "deep enough" to see beyond the smoke before the mirrors, and the mirrors reflected themselves right back upon themselves.
Trump is the same man who insulted American people who's son's and daughter lost their lives fighting for American Concerns, even Special Forces cling to Republicanism when it has so little respect for them, and that too was shown in Benghazi, how Republican did not provide funding for quality security, and left people in a dire position. Even the Special Forces who fight for Democracy, sit and did nothing while Trump tried to bring down The Legislative House of The Nations, in the attack upon the U.S. Capitol. They became void of understanding they have a brotherhood with the Capitol Police, and they ignored that point of cohesion in protecting The Constitution.

The lack of Civics Understanding is at a very devastated condition and people are like the foolish person who does not acknowled they are a fool, and the liar who belives their own lies, and attack the truth, because the truth exposed the lies.

Trump is like a variety of other people who thinks "money makes them what they don't have the integrity to be". True and Honest Business men, who have ethics never associated with Trump, not before and still do not.

Yes, Money is important in life, but life itself is more important than money. it's unfortunate but since many first came to America, they came with pursuit of wealth on their minds and they were too uneducated to even know what American Representative Democracy is. They came by the boat loads, chasing wealthy by any means, with little to no regard for the law and no respect for Regulatory Governance, they produced offsprings that to this day, still don't understand the responsibility of "Congress'.

We saw that with Republican Refused to Investigate the Treasonous Attack on The U.S. Capitol, and Refused to Impeach the Subversive Abuse of Office and Treasonous Acts of Trump, aided by the entire Republican Right Wing collective.

It's a Disgrace upon and unto the Nation for Trump and his Republican Conspirators to be walking free upon the Land of This Nation.

I already know, a great many white people hate like hell for me or anyone else to point out things they have tried to sweep under the rug and things they had never considered to look at themselves and see where they fall short on integrity and character.

Assuming you can only choose between these two, who would you vote for?
Why?
If those are the only 2 options, we're so ****ed either way that my vote doesn't matter.
I'd write in a better option.

I’ll vote for any Republican except for Trump. Trump was the worst President we could have during a pandemic. Biden is the worst President we could have given our current global and economic events.

We need a normal person as President. Trump is a narcissist pig. Biden is a frail old man.
Whatever. It is your vote to do with what you wish.

There's 320 Million people in America... These certainly are not the only options, these are the two "publicity encircles clowns".... that people are fixiated on, because they can't think in "Civic Terms of Responsibility'. That just goes to show how blindly fixiated people make themselves, until they can't even think beyond their fixiation.

Biden is more frail than he was, but he is also with more integrity and dignity in character with sincere devotion to political process for nation, people and society.

Trump is a Egomaniac Barbarian who has lived his entire life as a Pirate.

Oops just read this. Rules me out again a second time Mong....I am 66...the drooling has started....

seriously..I do not stereotype people automatically by age, but both Trump and Biden should not run because in both their cases with due respect, they both have symptoms of dementia.cognitive deficits and do not look to have the stamina and energy required to take on the job and manage exposure to its stresses. Both parties should look outside their existing parties to a middle of the roader who can recapture the moderate voters of both sides squeezed out by all the extremist rhetoric.

However I really do think if Biden physically survives another two years without serious medical issues his party will turn on him of the economy has not recovered they will have no choice.

I also think the Republicans will not toss Trump out and are morally spineless cowards and will pray Trump is criminally convicted of anything in the next two years but the will not turn on him until then. I do not think moderate Republicans will do a damn thing and probably hold their nose and vote Democrat again. The dirt on Trump has yet to come out and many are waiting to turn on him but are hiding behind the Committee to do the work needed to make it safe for them to distance from Trump. Until then no.

Its too bad because any potential outsider
s won't go near the next election. Do not underestimate how racist and sexist is in the US towards Harris or Haley or anyone else. We are living in polarized times where out and out bigotry is acceptable again as mainstream ideology thanks to Trump. I would like to take him, his two idiot sons and plastic face Ivanka and her robot husband (I believe he was cloned by the same people who cloned Justin Bieber-look carefully) and exile them to Russia.

Melania is a KGB assassin anyways. They should just lock her up or make a deal she takes out Donny in return for living in Samoa in a witness protection program. All she has to do is feed him a laced Big Mac or KFC leg.
This is another insult to The Nation's Postition of First Lady...

There was plenty wrong with Trump, starting with numerous grave character flaws. Ultimately, it were his character flaws that consistently got him into trouble and impeded his ability to take charge on CoVid. The character flaws notwithstanding, had he been able to show leadership in Covid, I agree, he likely would have been re-elected. His character flaws, however, prevented his leadership there.

IOW, I agree with you in theory, but the very things that led to Trump's demise also were the flaw in the theory.
