The only requirement to be President is to be a US citizen and be 35 years old. Trump doesn't need to know how to run anything just delegate and make decisions based on the experts. He has tons of experience in doing that. I would rather have a guy with no experience than a woman that is entrenched in Washington, in the pockets of the insiders and has tons of experience cramming her corruption and lies through the red tape. Her Nanny State, global liberalism agenda is Anti-American.
The President is the Head of State. He represents us in the international arena. I'm tired of the "Donald Trump doesn't need to know how to do anything or be competent at anything, he just needs to know how to find the people who are and have them do all the work while not thinking or doing anything because as we already admitted, he doesn't know how to do anything regarding the Presidency nor is he competent along those lines" excuse. It's a crap excuse for a crap candidate when one has absolutely nothing left in the tank to counter any argument of experience or competency.
The President does need to delegate, but his job isn't ONLY delegating. He has many responsibilities and decisions that the President along can make and do. It's not some empty suit sitting at a desk, there are real responsibilities and duties to perform and the President must be able to take responsibility and perform those duties themselves. So enough of the "He sucks, we know he sucks...but hey, he just needs to find folk who don't suck and hire them." This is bull**** for the following reasons.
1) The President has real duties and responsibilities that cannot be delegated away. They must be able to perform these adequately
2) Trump cannot stand to be told "no". Even if he could delegate away ALL his responsibilities (he cannot), this excuse relies on him finding those who are competent enough to do the job. But one who can do the job will have to tell a know-nothing President "no" on occasion because the President doesn't know anything. Trump cannot stand to hear no, he will surround himself by yes men. Meaning, even more so, he has to know what the fudge he is doing, and by your own admission he doesn't.
3) Head of State! The President is Head of State. He must meet with other dignitaries and diplomats, he must engage in international politics, he must represent America on the global scale. And yet Trump cannot keep his mouth shut. As soon as someone says "no" to him, he goes on the offensive, unleashing a torrent of juvenile insults. Trump has no tact, Trump has no filter on his mouth, Trump has no ability of diplomacy or any other skill required of Head of State.
4) Commander in Chief. The President is Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. Again he can "delegate" that away...but not really. He has to be able to lead the military, use it wisely, and not in reactions of petty slights. There is no indication that Trump can do so.
5) Executive Orders. Recently these have grown in popularity and use, and now the President has all sorts of powers to use these as forms of legislation. This isn't delegated away. And egomaniac like Trump with power of President and Executive Order cannot be trusted to just use it for his own personal gain and interests.
There are many more reasons why the President cannot just delegate away all their responsibilities. So you need to take the "We know Trump is incompetent, but it doesn't matter, he just needs to delegate" argument and throw it away because it is completely and utterly garbage!
