Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Well, you can't deny he has kept us out of war.

Being nominated is pretty easy. WINING the award is something else again.

It's getting more interesting every day.

It's too bad the propagandists in our media are peddling lies rather than reporting what is actually happening.

From you article, this pull quote seems to indicate ANOTHER Arab state is about to normalize relations with Israel:

<snip>
An Arab League condemnation of the Israel-UAE deal seemed unlikely from the start, sinc several Arab states such as Egypt and Bahrain have expressed public or tacit support for the deal.
<snip>

Currently, Bahrain has NOT normalized relations. I might be seeing things that aren't there, but this FEELS like a signal of things to come.

It'll be announced that Bahrain will normalize relations with Israel.

Trump has brokered 4 peace deals and started zero wars.

Biden's policy offer for the middle East is sending US troops back to Syria....

The Sunni powers were already largely allied with Israel, and Trump has been pumping arms into the Middle East at an unprecedented rate. The Trump admin is a partner to the war atrocities in Yemen.

Winning is only reserved for left wingers since the award committee is all left wingers. It's not any great accomplishment to win it.

It just happened. There is going to be a ceremony at the WH on Tuesday with Israel and UAE but it wasn't clear that Bahrain will be there also.

Also in the news today is Trump was nominated for a second Nobel Peace Prize by some dude in the Swedish parliament over his ability to normalize relations between Serbia and Kosovo. By next week will there be another nomination over Bahrain? :)

The 'some dude' in Swedish parliament is a crazy right-wing extremist.

Actually, Iran is responsible for the war in Yemen, they used those Obama bucks to start it.

And, the Sunni powers have largely cooled in their hatred of Israel during the Trump administration, and we are seeing the fruition of a ME policy that focuses on the source of conflict, Iran, rather than fighting in all of Iran's proxy wars.

If this was all such a foregone conclusion why didn't Obama do it? Oh... right...

I imagine anyone who identifies as a socialist that a lot of people are right wing extremists in their eyes.

What Obama bucks? How is Iran responsible and not Saudi Arabia, which outright started the war because their proxy was toppled by Houthi rebels. Do you support Trump pouring weapons into the Middle East?

You mean corrupt Sunni powers have allied with corrupt Israeli and American leaders to push back against Shiite powers, because Sunni and Israel play ball with America and Trump and Iran does not.

If this was all such a foregone conclusion why didn't Obama do it? Oh... right...

Obama wasn't corrupt and war-mongering enough to unify the corrupt powers of the Middle East against Iran.

We're talking about Christian Tybring-Gjedde here so let's see what his policies are:

He supports the Russian annexation of Crimea. Oh....
Protests about the "Islamisation of Norway", so he's a Eurabia guy, sigh.
He doesn't believe in climate change. I can see where this is going
He's against Norwegian membership in the EU. This is actually not unusualy for Norway. They are not a member anyways, but they're part of the Common Market.
Has stated Liberalism is a dead ideology. Hmm (the party he is a part of is traditionally very free market liberal, but also has many far right members who has become more prominent)
Has many times been compared to Geert Wilders. He's far right, okay.

The hatred for Iran is common, but the UAE will finally acknowledge what they have been doing all along with Israel. The Saudis will come along sooner than later, but to pretend the US spearheaded this a joke.

Israel will now have to be worried about pissing off the ME.

The Houthi rebels, who began the civil war are the proxy Shia military force for Iran in Yemen. Iran had been funding the Houthi uprising modestly for a year, because Iran had little money due to sanctions, until Obama sent pallets of cash to Iran and lifted sanctions, a financial windfall that Iran dumped directly into the Houthi rebels and the ME terror campaign run by Qasem Soleimani.

You mean corrupt Sunni powers have allied with corrupt Israeli and American leaders to push back against Shiite powers, because Sunni and Israel play ball with America and Trump and Iran does not.

Poor misunderstood Iran, eh? Also bonus points for "The Joooooos!!!" argument.

Obama wasn't corrupt and war-mongering enough to unify the corrupt powers of the Middle East against Iran.

Holy crap, Obama was absolutely a corrupt piece of **** and a disaster for the Middle East. He sent billions to the #1 state sponsor of terror, pulled US forces out of Iraq and simultaneously armed AQ and ISIS in Syria.

Your brain is so utterly pickled in TDS that you have convinced yourself that peace under Trump is bad and chaos under Obama is good. Well, TDS and antisemitism...

Wait, so Obama shouldn't have tried to peacefully negotiate -- along with the international community -- to effectively disarm Iran's nuclear threat? To have them pour cement in their nuclear reactors? What was the alternative? The sanctions were DESIGNED to pressure Iran into a deal. What as the end goal if not to secure a deal?

Poor misunderstood Iran, eh? Also bonus points for "The Joooooos!!!" argument.

Of the two of us, I guarantee I'm the least antisemitic. I mean after all, I don't support Trump and don't align myself with vehement antisemites which constitute the bulk of the right-wing base. Calling people critical of a corrupt right-wing government anti-semitic was old when I was young. Take your cancel culture rhetoric elsewhere.

Holy crap, Obama was absolutely a corrupt piece of **** and a disaster for the Middle East.

Would a war with Iran be less or more of a disaster? Is sending arms to Saudi Arabia good for the Middle East? Is enabling Israeli annexation of land that doesn't belong to them good for the Middle East? Do you even care about the people who live in the Middle East, outside of a few Israeli politicians and MBS?

He sent billions to the #1 state sponsor of terror, pulled US forces out of Iraq and simultaneously armed AQ and ISIS in Syria.

You don't even know what you're talking about. Stop embarrassing yourself. America gave Iran back it's own money, pennies on the dollar, and it was your boys who savaged the Middle East with the Iraq invasion. My ideology opposed the war when people like you were calling us traitors and licking Cheney's bootheels. Obama pulled out of Iraq due to the Status of Forces Agreement which Al-Maliki wouldn't sign, and Al-Maliki wanted the US out of Iraq for political reasons (and because he was in the pocket of Iran; thanks America!). The alternative is that Obama re-occupied Iraq illegally. I know you and your ilk would prefer that America simply rape the land of resources and to hell with the people living there, but some of us actually care about human life and people outside our po-dunk family circle.

Your brain is so utterly pickled in TDS that you have convinced yourself that peace under Trump is bad and chaos under Obama is good. Well, TDS and antisemitism...

I would suggest you pick a fight with someone below your level, not above it.

Biden's policy offer for the middle East is sending US troops back to Syria....

Biden has been on the wrong of every major policy decision, foreign and domestic, over the last 50 years.

No reason to believe he'll get on the right side any time soon.

Is that not exactly what he did?

It is not like Biden had a choice. His handler gave him a position, so he stuck with it until the handler changed or the position died.

The question is whether Biden's handlers have sorted things out. It appears he has a committee, which makes for some interesting waffling, and occasional reversals.

Your chart shows the extent of the "Deep State" and its reach into the everyday of everyone.

The "Deep State" used to be called the "Military Industrial Complex".

The nomenclature contrast is similar to "Shell Shock" and "Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome".

The departure from or move to less complex clarity seems to have more to do with the folks naming the problem than anything else.

It is amusing that when a poll number indicates that the old position has become unpopular, Biden changes direction with neck wrenching abruptness.

The main stream media is SOOOOO committed to supporting this clown that the Democrat-Socialist Drones just go along with what they are told to believe today.

Amusing from a point of mere observation. Sad in a "How stupid can people be" kind of a way.

There are 318 candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize this year.

Despite the numbers and the initial laughter, I'm sure he's an overwhelming favorite to win it all, in the same way I'm sure that the Deep State exists, that Bill Gates started Covid with the goal of microchipping us all, that global warming is fake--despite, y'know, science and education and other liberal trash--that science itself is fake, because scientists are all in the pockets of the federal government, that Covid itself is fake, despite, um, all of those people dying from it, that the Clintons killed Epstein, that liberals are starting all of these fires, or Antifa, or BLM, or whoever is interfering with my bowel movements at the moment, and that there is a secret basement underneath the secret basement at Comet Ping Pong.

In short, all of the crazy things that make my toes squiggle are true, and all of the factual or scientifically backed things that infuriate me are fake. Go Trump.

If he doesn't win, then the Nobel Peace Prize never existed.

Well, you can't deny he has kept us out of war.

Seriously, don’t hold your breath.

This the guy who nominated Trump;

Christian Tybring-Gjedde (born 8 August 1963) is a Norwegian politician who represents the Progress Party. He has been a member of the Norwegian parliament since 2005, and was the leader of the Progress Party's Oslo chapter from 2010 to 2014.

He is most widely known for his opposition to immigration, especially Muslim immigration, and rejects the scientific consensus on climate change. He believes immigration policy to be the single most important political issue facing Norwegian society. In 2014 he released his book about immigration politics titled Mens orkesteret fortsetter spille (While the orchestra continues to play). In foreign policy he has supported Vladimir Putin and criticized the sanctions against Russia that the conservatives pushed for; he has also said the west should recognise the Russian occupation and annexation of Crimea.. He has been sharply critical of United States foreign policy prior to the election of Donald Trump. In 2018 and 2020 he put forward Trump's name as a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize; any member of parliament may propose candidates

He has been described by media commentators and scholars as far-right, anti-immigrant and Islamophobic, and is a leading figure in a party faction that seeks to declare Norway a patriotic beacon. His pro-Russian views have been criticised by Norwegian conservatives. The Local Norway describes him as ”one of Norway's most controversial anti-immigration politicians", and political scientist Sindre Bangstad has described him as one of the "main traffickers in extreme right-wing rhetorical tropes about Islam and Muslims" in Norway. Tybring-Gjedde was a civil servant in the Ministry of Defence before he entered politics.
