"trump" letter to Zelensky

Zelensky shared the letter trump sent him on Ukraine's 34th anniversary. It includes:

“The people of Ukraine have an unbreakable spirit, and your county’s courage inspires many. As you mark this important day, know the United States respects your fight, honors your sacrifices, and believes in your future as an independent nation.”

“Now is the moment to bring an end to the senseless killing. The United States supports a negotiated settlement that leads to a durable, lasting peace that ends the bloodshed and safeguards Ukraine’s sovereignty and dignity.”

How obvious could it be trump had nothing to do with writing that? Not one "greatest" or "best ever seen".
 
He's lying again. US nor the EU want anything to do with peace.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for his "heartfelt congratulations" on the country's independence day, as Washington presses on with its efforts to broker a deal to end three and a half years of war in Ukraine.

Zelensky and Trump have had a fraught relationship, but one that appears to have improved since the infamous White House meeting in February this year. Zelensky, flanked by senior European leaders, visited Washington on Monday after Trump returned from his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Ukrainian leader said the country appreciated Trump's "kind words for the Ukrainian people," and that the U.S. was "standing shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine in defending what is most valuable: independence, freedom, and guaranteed peace."

You forgot to mention it's Ukraine Independence Day, which was the main focus of the president's letter.

Putin hasn't honored any ceasefires. And his condition is all Ukraine. So he'll continue his embarrassing failure of a war.

Russian demands are absolutely reasonable .
Ukrainr doesn't give up EVERYTHING . It preservers the Lion's part of its territory , and will be allowed to join EU.
Russia will have to give up its ambitions to return All Ukraine . its pretty much .
You need to compare Russians demands over time and see the evolution .
And you will understand that its favourable for Ukraine to exit the war. Immediately !

No. Putin is the warmonger keeping this war ignited.

If Russia withdraws from Ukraine today, the war ends tomorrow.

Thats true. And the same could be said for the Israeli/Hamas war. The war would end tomorrow if Hamas surrendered and released its hostages. But the left never demands this, all they ever demand is that Israel stop what its doing.
 
I think it’s great that Trump can engage with the president of Ukraine without trying to extort him for a change.

The war in Gaza was over a long time ago. Currently Israel is killing Palestinians civilians and clearing Gaza of all Palestinians.

Israel already declared the war is over once ethnic cleansing is complete. And Putin initiated these hostilities. It’s bad enough t watching the sitting potus swallow Vlad, but watching whole GOP do it has been kind of sad.
