Second-generation New York real estate heir Donald Trump, Jr. is caught up in yet another hunting scandal.

Utah hunting guide Wade Lemon is facing five years in prison for baiting a bear that was killed by Trump, Jr. on May 18, 2018, The Salt Lake Tribune reported Saturday.

But the New York developer may not have been familiar enough with western hunting to know about the felony poaching.

"Trump Jr. is not named in a recent filing against Lemon, but the DNR confirmed his identity as the person named in the felony complaint as Lemon’s “client” on the hunt. Prosecutors have indicated there was no evidence showing Trump Jr. would have known about the alleged baiting that went on during the hunt," the newspaper reported. "Without naming Trump Jr., Davis County Attorney Troy Rawlings said the hunter in the case 'was actually a victim and a now a possible witness in a fraudulent scheme to lead the hunter to believe it was actually a legitimate Wild West hunting situation.'". . .

Whether he was "aware" or not, he has slaughtered enough animals and lines of cocaine to disqualify himself from the human race.
 
I can't imagine getting a hunting license without signing something that says you will follow hunting regulations.

The first thing the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources web site points out is, "These guidebooks contain the information you must know to hunt or fish in Utah."

Donnie Jr. did nothing illegal, and appears to not be culpable or contributory to the felonious act.

Now it may be fair to debate Donnie Jr.'s hunting, in societal or humane terms. That's a legitimate debate. But, it is not fair to allude to any type of illegal or contributory behaviour on his part.
 


I was present when a native black bear had to be shot to death on the outskirts of Vancouver. She, the bear, had gotten in the habit of visiting a child's play area. (I was there as a journalist & recorded the assassination)

The video raises hairs in places you don't have hairs, watching that bear take one, two then three rifle hits to go down. It turned out they orphaned two cubs.

That event stands as an equal to when I have to have my beloved dog put to sleep. They idea of killing one of these beautiful beasts to prove one's manhood is revolting and shows once again just who in this world DOESN'T have any stones down below.

How about we catch & release him...release him where we know bears gather for food, and leave him there. I doubt he'd make it to sunset

I didn't see any claim he did anything illegal, in fact they quoted the story saying he was not accused. There are two things here, the news that he was involved in the incident as the one paying for the person who did it, and second what he was involved in, he sure kills a lot of nice animals, the reaction to his killing a bear baited with pastries. Of course it's just a little part of a lot of scumbaggery.

Most animals would be extinct if it wasn't for hunters they do more good for the environment then some tree hugger in Manhattan does
 
Why not? He's a degenerate human being. How did you feel when his father called for the Michigan SOS to be tried for treason and executed because she certified Biden's win? Don Jr. is a low life scumbag with toooo much money aided and abetted by his scumbaggery father.

I say he's totally fair game. (No Punn Intended) The bottom line here is that he is likely criminally liable. I am sure the prosecution caved because of who he is.

Nonsense. Animal life managed not to snuff itself out before earliest explorers discovered lands around the world that previously had no human population.

True. Often, “Hunters” like jr pay big bucks for canned hunting of exotic old/sick animals with two paws/hooves already in the grave, with part or all of the money paid going to maintaining a preserve.

That the money goes to a worthy cause doesn’t make the practice any less repugnant though.

Hunting for food is fine. Hunting for sport is barbaric.
 
We don't have bears here in Texas, but I quit deer hunting when I moved here. First off, the deer are about the size of a German Sheppard. Then I learned that it's legal to attract the deer with corn feeders and salt lick blocks that are put out weeks before the deer season opens.

It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

"I got my deer!"
