Trump is working for STATES RIGHTS with his VP Pic of Pence..... Pence has gone against trumps strong stance against Nafta so why did Trump pick Pence?

Pence has been strong in making state laws against federal laws... like the refugees and abortion.... so Trump may think bringing states rights as the most important issue at the moment

Trump gets more northern men supporters... more catholics ...to help oither states rights or secession... States Rights has it making their own laws which would be a high wisdom test for voters in many states and with states rights making their own laws ... that then makes them fully responsible so everyone can learn more easily... The liberals making their own laws will see their states falling into misery because they cannot take from conservatives.. This pain that the liberals will get also will make them learn better and they too will change to being conservatives

Are liberals afraid of states rights?? and WHY?? ; liberal states cn make their own laws as well as conservative states..... why would they be afraid?? are they scared that this would stop liberals from taking from conservatives?

"States Rights", besides being confederate buzz words, are irrelevant.

Mike Pence is a conservative Evangelical T-Partier who is turning his state into the theocratic economic failure that Kansas & Louisiana are.

Devastate the economy, social enslave the populace, and get bailed-out by the federal dollars deposited by the liberal states, only to hear them decry the "federal government" as they shout "states rights" while they hold their greedy hands out, as they continue with their local 'tyranny of the majority' upon the few liberal citizens that are unlucky enough to remain in their dystopian hell holes.

yes.. this will make REAL progress for america... and a wisdom test for voters will then stop liberalism once and for all...

How this works is..... some states will make a wisdom test for their voters.... and the conservatives in those liberal states will stampede to the states with High wisdom tests for voting and as they stampede away from the liberals ... the liberal states fall into total misery and from their OWN PAIN AND MISERY they change to conservative also and also with a wisdom test for voters...... THIS is what the greedy liberals are so scared of..

If there were to be a wisdom test, you will force the conservatives into a terrible life without the liberals.

The liberal states have the education and high paying professional jobs, and pay the taxes that keep the conservative states on federal benefits. You'll be dooming the conservatives and their states to a life of poverty, manual labor, and federal benefit dependency. It's far better not to test them, and keep them dispersed around the country where they can reap the benefits of the liberal economy, liberal social policy, and access to educated professionals.

These are the immutable facts.

Einstein the great inventor understands how low of value knowledge is compared to the inventive mind

IF you are scared of a wisdom test for voters..... just say so

Those wise men through the ages have been liberal and educated and have advanced civilization ... through science the arts and society ... the Greeks the Romans have flourished until we now have America ... who continues the tradition and needs to to continue on in liberalism, unlike the decay and regression of the conservative Middle East and South Central Asia ... these are the immutable facts.

So the 9th and 10th Amendments are irrelevant?

Do you really think they could stop the government if the government was even half as evil and omnipotent as people seem to think?

One might argue that many red states have been "doomed to a life" of poverty and dependency already and have been in that rut for quite some time.

But the wise have always been the liberal and educated not those that cling to conservatism ... whether the school at Athens or the Library at Alexandria it was the liberals who marched forward to bring the western world into modernity despite the chains of conservatism ... and it was the same with John Locke in England as it will be the same in America ... these are the immutable truths.

I don't think you're seeing the bigger picture. Who said the intent was to use "states' rights" to stop the Federal Government?

need to say "state powers", only people have rights.

You're mincing words (with an obvious Libertarian twist). I believe its generally understood that states' "rights" essentially implies rights of people to govern themselves, to a degree, at the state level.

WRONG.... copying is NOT true wisdom... it is INVENTORS and they win the wars...... and remember what the wise founders said... There never was a democracy that didn't commit suicide..... everyone of them does.... are you blind to history?

are you blind to what made this nation great??? yep it was a wisdom test for voters .. which they called a property test

need to repeal the 17th, this would restore power to the states governments in congress
As ignorant and generally uninformed as the electorate has become, I may not be in total disagreement with you on this one.

Although I must add, I am certainly no elitist and am generally opposed to flirting with oligarchy as an option.

This is WHY... STATES RIGHTS IS SO VALUABLE /////////////////

Allowing each state to makes its OWN laws and from that makes them take FULL responsibility for their actions and when taking full responsibility and FULL PAIN then they learn and make laws that will stop the pain

States then compares and then they can find out the BEST SYSTEM of government and then copy the BEST

ONLY LIBERALS do not want this because then they would have to take full responsibility for their actions

when states makes a wisdom test for voters ... here is what will happen... THE most wise of the other states will move there and the UNWISE that cannot vote will then flee to those states where the wise are fleeing from

THEN the full pain will be felt by liberals and that then WILL make them change to conservatives and copy those successful states
