President Trump on Monday implored Georgia voters to turn out in two crucial Senate runoff races on Tuesday to stop Democrats from gaining unchecked control of Washington, warning of a push toward socialism, tax hikes, the Green New Deal and packing the Supreme Court with additional justices.

“Your vote tomorrow will decide which party controls the United States Senate,” Trump said at an evening rally in Dalton, Georgia.

“The radical Democrats are trying to capture Georgia’s Senate seats so they could wield unchecked, unrestrained, absolute power on every aspect of your lives,” he warned.

And the Repubs don't?

Actually republicans don’t. When have republicans ever passed a law that reduced your standard of living? I can think of many passed by democrats.

Trump said over and over that Georgia's elections are fraudulent.

Can't have it both ways fat boy.

I wonder how the Repubs will play this little note - A Republican Public Service Commissioner won more votes than any of the other candidates, Dem or Repub

6:50 a.m. | 11Alive Anchor Shiba Russell highlights a really interesting dynamic that appears to have played out in these Senate races. The Republican with the most votes so far? Public Service Commission incumbent candidate Lauren "Bubba" McDonald.
It appears there was plenty of split ticket voting, with voters choosing the two Democrats and then McDonald, a Republican. Or even, with Warnock running ahead of Ossoff, potentially people who split their ticket Warnock-Perdue-McDonald.

You are correct - republicans(sic) haven't "passed" laws that reduced our standard of living. No, their modus operandi is to repeal laws that had provided a higher standard of living.

How about Trump's big tax cut for the rich? The limitation on deductions screwed the people in blue states who had houses that were heavily taxed locally but they lost the ability to deduct those taxes. And to fool the common folk, they changed the withholding tables so they felt happy because they had more in their pay checks but less of a return at tax time. All of these people lost due to Trump.

Republicans are the primary road block to passing sensible drug law reform.

Republicans are the primary road block to having reproductive freedom and choice.

Republicans are the primary road block to reducing racial inequality (most pretend there isn't even a problem, or if there is then it's black peoples' own fault).

And, most recently, Republicans are the primary road block to having a peaceful transition of power in our government, and having confidence that our elections are more credible than 3rd world banana republics.

drug laws are perfectly sensible now and have saved many lives.

you have total freedom to reproduce.

black people are overwhelmingly represented by black democrats. Most blacks on the ground are impacted by their own decisions.

as of yet all challenges to election results have been through legal channels.

it seems you hold many opinions based on ignorance.

This is why you lost pretty much everything.

No it’s not.

the party loses because it’s schlerotic and the corporate half doesn’t have the stomach to fight culture battles.

It lost because the culture battle is over. You're just a dead-ender.

BS, throwing people in jail for what they do to their own bodies is not constructive nor is it even close to a conservative principle. Drug abuse is a medical problem and the current stupid laws don't reflect that fact at all. They cause more problems than they solve and that isn't even debatable anymore. I've been arguing for the legalization of ALL drugs for more than 20 years now. Trust me, there is nothing you can say on the topic that I haven't already heard and proved wrong dozens of times.

you have total freedom to reproduce.
When Republicans stop pushing for abstainance-only education, stop crying foul over giving out contraceptives in High School, and stop foolishly asserting that zygotes are "babies" being "murdered in the womb" then you might start being correct.

black people are overwhelmingly represented by black democrats.
In the South? Until yesterday, GA had NEVER had a black person serving in the Senate.

Most blacks on the ground are impacted by their own decisions.
You just proved me right: "most pretend there isn't even a problem, or if there is then it's black peoples' own fault."

And they've ALL been laughed out of court for the nonsense they were from the start, yet there are still plenty of Republican Congress critters who plan on contesting the results. They are thwarting the peaceful transition of power and making our country look like a 3rd world banana republic.
