What you are failing to understand is that no trial means other things as well.

Discovery, cross examination, examination of evidence, challenges against evidence, review of due process, exposure of witness identity, and on and on.

The plea eliminates all of this.

When presented one time with the opportunity to present his case, Mueller was not prepared to do so and had to request a delay.

This whole witch hunt is a sham and an embarrassment based on nothing, conducted by fools for the entertainment of fools.

In most or all cases, the acceptance of a plea offer is understood by those accepting the plea deal to be the quickest and easiest way to limit the liability against the accused.

Under Mueller and his thugs, the accusers have the charges so over inflated that a reduction to the unjustified lesser charge seems like a good choice compared to the unjustified greater charge.

AFTER the Mueller inquisitors have broken the ability of the accused to defend themselves, the accused can just continue, undefended, to take the torture or can accept the plea deal to stop the torture.

There is no mystery in this. They will say anything to end the punishment being meted out by the inquisitors who intend to do nothing more than break their ability to defend themselves.

Did I say ANYTHING about our judicial system outside entering a plea?

The judge was incredulous when Flynn was entering his plea. He simply could not believe that Flynn would do this.

Flynn, the subject of the torture meted out by Mueller and his thugs and facing the extortion from them that they would do the same thing to Flynn's son, entered the plea. He just wanted to stop the unending attacks.

If Flynn had never accepted the offer to work in the employ of Trump, none of this would have happened to him and THAT is the real goal of this whole witch hunt. Punishment.

If you really cannot see that, you're blind.

Flynn defended himself until had no remaining resources to do so. He was willing at that point to continue to absorbing punishment so Mueller and his thugs extorted the plea out of him by threatening to similarly destroy Flynn's son.

At that point Flynn entered the plea. As he has done for his entire life, he sacrificed to protect another.

This is not justice. This is torture and extortion.

Man are you going to be disappointed. So letting him know they would prosecute him for his taxes, upholding the law, is putting the screws to him. What happened to the party of law and order? You should be applauding. Clinton has nothing to do with trump and cohen and I think there will be much more than just cohen's word. We shall see, shant we?
