Trump Furious at GOP's Bad Showing in Mid Terms

He did say the election was all about him...

And the results confirm that. He almost single handedly lost control of the House. Forty seats or so?

Toddler in chief is throwing tantrums...awww

He behaved like a spoiled child in France, then blamed it on the Secret Service. Nothing is ever his fault. Not a good character trait in a president.

The GOP hierarchy did a good job playing the hand they were dealt. Picking up four Senate seats to offset two losses was pretty good, given the circumstances. The GOP will evolve beyond Trumpism in due time. Even with Trumpism, it's better than anything the Democrats have to offer. Losing the house was expected. Net, Trump may have cost the GOP one Senate seat and maybe 10 House seats, not enough to save the majority.

And he did boast that the republicans that won were the ones that supported HIM. He blasted the republicans that didn't kiss his boots and therefore lost. Republicans won seats in the red racist districts. The mainly white voters WORSHIP trump because he made American WHITE again.

The economy is strong and unemployment is at an all time low - and trump lost the house. Any decent president would have won the mid-terms in a landslide under these circumstances. But keep patting yourself on the back as much as you like. trump's behaviour since the mid-terms has been worse then ever. He is PISSED and is panicking that the democrats will hold him accountable for the next 2 years. NO MORE FREE RIDE.

I doubt it..the GOP had no problem de-volving into Trumpism.

They can't live that down.

Trump lost the mid-terms.
Team Mueller is back in action and will hopefully have Democratic house protection/buffer
Democratic house means a boatload of investigations under their control that will be in the public where it makes sense to have it there.
He also LOST his partners in obstruction in the House, they are now to be ignored in the minority.

Rumor is Don Jr will be indicted
Stone looks to be a target for indictment/flip, like Manafort...they will probably give him plenty fo time to cooperate (but I think to no avail, he's the definition of corrupt)
They have to turn in his written answers to Mueller soon, he may get subpoenaed there too
First big change was firing Sessions, setting up his lackey Whittaker to possibly run cover now that Mueller is again able to pursue things openly.

Trump's acting frustrated and cornered, like he's scared. Is he just a coward-baby? Or does he know Mueller and the House are gonna find something? Stay tuned.

If you are following the politics of the new house members, its not a win for democrats, either. They are mostly single issue, take no prisoners outliers. Two years of chaos and doing nothing is not what they promised voters.

So the democrats arent exactly on a glide path to glory.

I disagree. Those spineless wingnuts who support trump or give him cover now "own" this nation being inflicted with trumpism. I don't see how the cowardly GOP will live it down.

This story is laughable. 37 house seats lost is the average for Presidents since WWII with sub 50% approval ratings. Remember, Obama lost 63 in 2010. Also, the GOP had a wave of retirements so they lost the advantage of incumbency in many House races. Yet, they gained Senate seats. All things considered, and after two years of relentless savaging of Trump by the left and the MSM, the GOP did pretty well.

You conveniently omit that Trump became the GOP nominee from Democrats voting in open primaries hoping to give Hillary an unelectable opponent so that 2016 could be a coronation for Hillary rather than an election. While Trump leaves a lot to be desired, I'm happy that the Democrat's little game backfired on them.

The incumbent President has only held the House 3 times since 1913 in a first midterm and one of those was right after 911. So, you don't know what you are saying.

Yeah, they underestimated how many Americans are racists....

Research Finds That Racism, Sexism, and Status Fears Drove Trump Voters

How sad that you're happy about this fact.

And that has nothing to do with Trump being furious at the GOP's bad showing.

It's not like Trump has ever let facts creep into his thinking.
