Trump loves to fire people who get in the way of his Wall Street pals.

Did you know Robert Primus was put in place under Trump's first term?

In any case, no reason was given for the termination beyond the person did not align with Trump's "America First" agenda. That's blanket for "you're not kissing sufficient ass".

As per usual, Primus says he will challenge the firing because there was no actual cause given. Trump loves clogging the courts with all of his actions.

I'm guessing there's a merger he wants to go through? lol

Every president has terminated employees because they don't align with the president's agenda.

Why is this any different?

Oh...wait...I forgot. It's Trump.

Trump's not allowed to do what every other president has done.

As per usual, Primus says he will challenge the firing because there was no actual cause given.
Of course, he will...but he's wrong. The cause was given.

Trump loves clogging the courts with all of his actions.
LOL!!

Typical. Blame Trump for someone else's decision.

Tell me, who is going to take this case to court? Trump? No. He won't.

Trump does it more than any other president in memory.

It is an independent agency, and not part of the Executive Branch, so firing would likely require cause beyond not aligning with "America First" agenda.

Not aligning (supposedly) with "America First" is not sufficient cause.
LOL!!

Someone else's decision? He fired him without cause.

Between Trump and his cabinet heads, the firing is out of control. Can't be an efficient way to run anything, let alone the US government.
Trump has devastated the military and the DoJ. It's really a sad state of affairs.

Trump does it more than any other president in memory.
You have selective memory, I think.

Don't you recall Obama firing a bunch of attorneys and a slew of Generals?

Anyway, Trump has to get rid of the deep state dead weight...and there's a lot of it.

It's already been decided by the Supremes that Trump has the right to fire people in these "independent agencies".

Not aligning (supposedly) with "America First" is not sufficient cause.
shrug...

Your opinion.

Someone else's decision? He fired him without cause.
It's someone else's decision if this gets taken to court. Not Trump's decision.

Try to focus, eh?

These are like Stalin's purges, except he fires them instead of sending them to Siberia. The effect is the same, scare everyone else who might resist being asked to follow illegal orders.

False, no decision has been rendered. Try to focus, eh?
shrug...

Your opinion.

And the opinion of the person fired.
It's someone else's decision if this gets taken to court. Not Trump's decision.

Try to focus, eh?
If I was fired without cause, I would fight it as well. Just because you like to lie down for Trump does not mean other people do.

Okay. His, too.

This isn't about you or me.

Bye.

That's a temporary emergency order, not a SCOTUS decision. You should read all of the article, or maybe the first paragraph?
LOL!!

Bye.
But it is about a person who said he was fired without cause.

Cya.

Most of the article is background info. Here is the important part.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed the Trump administration to remove three Democratic members of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, who had been fired by President Donald Trump and then reinstated by a federal judge.
The justices acted on an emergency appeal from the Justice Department, which argued that the agency is under Trump’s control and the president is free to remove commissioners without cause.
That’s what Trump did in May, providing no reason for removing all three Democratic commissioners on the five-person board, despite a federal law that allows commissioners to be fired only for “neglect of duty or malfeasance.”
The court provided a brief, unsigned explanation that the case is similar to earlier ones in which it allowed Trump to fire board members of other independent agencies, whom Congress protected from arbitrary dismissals.

And it wasn't a "temporary emergency order" from the Supremes. (There isn't anything "temporary" about it.) It was an "emergency appeal from the Justice Department". Also, as the last sentence explains, this CPSC case is similar to earlier cases that allowed Trump to fire board members of independent agencies. So, as I said...It's already been decided by the Supremes that Trump has the right to fire people in these "independent agencies".

Yes it's temporary because there has been no actual decision by SCOTUS or even the 4th Circuit.

deep state dead weight. lol. got I love hearing right wing blather.

prove he was part of the "deep state dead weight". go for it

But it's a bad look now because of the timing.

Right before a merger approval vote? Even you gotta admit: Not good optics.

This is part of P2025, we knew this was coming even if all the MAGA commie liars were spouting off how P2025 wasn't going to be part of Trump's plan.

Yet another thing Congress will have to "reform" once Sanity regains it's footing in both Houses.

This isn't about the MAGA Little Red Book.

This is personal business. Helping out a donor.

Yeah, that's why Trump needs to get rid of any dissenters and have only loyalists in play. This is part of his pay-to-play scheming for which he needs complete Party Control. It's standard commie bullshit.
