This is very bad messaging on Trump's part. He should have gone ahead with his rally in the knowledge God protects its own:

I think this is an excellent suggestion on your part. It not only would cement your ascendancy from Platinum MAGA to Super MAGA, it would also put you in a position to make some serious coin off the adherents. I wish you luck!

Agreed.
If the Donald isn't willing to counter the diabolical "deep state tornado machine" with one of his own patented tweetstorms, maybe he isn't the MAGAman we all
have worshipped.
On the other hand, here we have the stalwart DeSanctimonious who is courageously doing battle with Mickey Rat and friends.
If the guv decides to go after Donald Duck for not wearing pants...well...the GOP nomination could be well within his grasp.
If Ron is accused of sexually assaulting Clarabelle or Minnie Mouse, he will lock up...so to speak.... the presidential nomination.


This could work out for you and DJT.
You would lockup the MAGA merchandise market and clean up.
Of course, the Donald may "borrow" your share of the profits for his own purposes.
But being tied up in the legal system is all part of being a true MAGAman.

If RINO Republicans == Political Elite Republicans, then that makes a great deal of sense to me.

The political elites of the UniParty (regardless of how they label themselves) have been failing the nation and it's people's for decades already.
 
DeSantis took a more direct attack on Trump than he has up to now. Be interesting to watch Trump's reaction.

OK so there will NOT be primaries/debates/dueling ads.. Trump just breezes to the nomination while Desantis stands around flipping burgers. .early polling is notoriously inexact

That is about the size of it. If Ronnie is LUCKY, he never even threatens Trump. As such Trump leaves him with what would be left of his dignity intact and his drawers not down around his ankles.

If Ronnie actually threatens Trump based on Ronnie's seeming ignorance of the state of play Nationally, I see a first round knockout with Ronnie hugging some canvas and Donnie with his hands raised.

Again anybody with a brain has to know that Ronnie has to be tucked under Donnie's Left armpit, not under Donnie's Right armpit. There are no votes over their Ronnie....OBVIOUSLY
 
it's not a boxing match. there isnt a "first round knockout". The first primary isn't until January. You cant go by polling this early
Desantis hasnt even declared, and we dont get a debate until August..no need to jump the shark -it will play itself out

Yep. If, as Trump has previously claimed "He is the chosen one!" is a factual/truthful claim ( like his claim "Mexico will pay for my Wall" ) --- Poofing away a tornado should be no trouble whatsoever.

 
The only RINO’s are Trump and his followers as they chose to follow a man with no political ideology of his own. The 7-time party switchers has always adopted the political philosophy of the party he belonged to at the time. Traditional conservatives’ values, convictions, ideology has been thrown out the window with the arrival of Trump. The man is all important, not conservative principles. Trump and his followers are the RINO’s, their devotion is to the man without a political philosophy instead of a set of conservative ideals.
 
I truly do not understand the term "elite" in this sense. Most of the people I know are Republicans still pretty consistent with their longtime Republican views (fiscally conservative, small government, all over the place on social issues). Are they then "elite"?
 
what conservative principles? foreign war money pits? passing Omnibus when a CR would do?
Forgetting about malign trade with China? I do agree on the spending, but at least there was a reson for COVID spending unlike Bidens Spend-a-paloozla and open borders..oh and recall Ryan and McConnel would not bring a wall vote after they got their tax cut.

Republicans are becoming populists, Dems are the uber-wealthy, and crazed progs.
 

Traditional Republicans didn't hate immigrants so much.

Dems are younger, more highly educated and generally more wealthy than Republicans. But the uberwealthy are still mostly Republicans.
