Trump endorsed candidates are winning.

In Tuesday’s Indiana and Ohio primaries, Trump once again ran the table: All 22 of his endorsed candidates won. He threw his support behind almost every House GOP incumbent running for reelection — and a few hopefuls in open seat primaries — and his preferred candidate won in every case. His pick in the the highest profile race of the day, the Ohio Senate GOP primary, also won the nomination largely due to Trump’s endorsement power.

Let Trump run and lose again.
He'll obviously claim voter fraud and spend the next decade moaning about it and claiming it was rigged as that's what he does.
Hell, he can even give it another try in 2028 if he likes.

You seriously think someone as obese and old as Trump has another decade?

Probably not but he needs to do something to try and keep himself out of prison.

They are winning primaries, not contests against the left so don't spike the football too soon. 👍

An example of Trumpism not ending well in a red state/county Trump won by double digits.

A close analysis shows that Trump is endorsing candidates based on current polling. In other words, he's simply endorsing those candidates who are most likely to win their primary. He has yet to pick any underdogs, regardless of their loyalty to him.

You may recall the GOP run off in Georgia when Trump endorsed the losing candidate. His immediate response was "I guess I backed the wrong horse." In other words, he was simply picking the candidate he thought would win. He has since gotten better at his prognostications. That is all his endorsements mean.

That may be true, but don't underestimate the influence Trump still has on the undereducated and uninformed.
But what people like Grandpappy trumpet as a great thing should be recognized as representing all that is currently bad in the Republican party. If the party is ever to climb out of the moral morass that they are currently mired in, they need to kick Trump to the curb.

Thank god! Because a party nomination means nothing other than a date in the general. Outside of a few deep red states, this advantages the Democrats.

You don't mean America first, you mean your idea of America first.

I hardly think there'll be any "advantage Democrats" if the state of the economy continues to tank.
You can make up BS about Trump all you want. It won't work this time.
The American public says " Fool me once, shame on you". You know the rest.

Agreed, but remember these are PRIMARIES, not general elections against qualified democratic candidates.

Right, think Roe vs Wade, that decision may well change the mid-terms completely. The timing for trumplicans couldn't be worse, there is no wrath like a woman scorned. When the trumpers starts taking AWAY rights, the economy gets less important to the wise.

Trump wants to pick the winner, that's all. Trump learned from his mistake in Georgia. Now he waits until it is clear who the front runner is, then he "endorses" them. Then, when they win, he takes credit. And folks like Grandpappy lap it up as if Trump is adored from coast to coast.

Pathetic.

Understood and my comments were limited to the power/influence he has within the republican party- not as to the outcome of statewide, or nationwide elections.

Will be particularly interesting here in Ohio where the candidate he backed (JD Vance) in the senate primary race was on record back in 2016 calling out Trump for the low life loser we know he is. Then had to totally reverse course and suck up to him to get Trump's endorsement. At the rally where Trump appeared in support of Vance, when he announced Vance before his speech, Vance got more than a few boos from the rabid Trump supporters in attendance. Does that mean those folks will vote democrat in the Senate election? Of course not. But it might mean they stay home and don't vote at all.

Vance was at 10% before the Trump endorsement.
I detect more "Ministry of truth" talking points.
