Trump Encourages Racist Conspiracy Theory About Kamala Harris

Someone in Hillary’s campaign originated the rumor.

The buck stops here, correct?

It happened on Hillary’s watch.
Nice attempt at putting trump's little birther game on someone else.

Oh, so it wasn't Trump? Huh. I could have sworn Trump questioned Obama's birthplace for years prior to the election and all during the election. How about that.

No, Clinton didn't start the birther thing. This guy did.
Despite what Trump says, the 2008 Clinton campaign and the candidate herself never trafficked in the rumors.
After years of denying the legitimacy of Barack Obama’s presidency, it was only in the midst of his own presidential campaign that Donald Trump began falsely claiming Hillary Clinton was the true progenitor of the “birther” conspiracy theory claiming Obama was not born in the United States.
But that’s swapping one discredited claim for another. Numerous fact checks, reports and interviews — in 2008 and 2011, when Trump revived the controversy — revealed that although some Clinton supporters circulated rumors about Obama’s citizenship, the campaign and Clinton herself never trafficked in it.

Gloves are off? I'd settle for a little truth from you. Just for a change.
The “gloves are off” comment was in response to your posting that Trump uses racists as his base.

Which is 100% fraudulent.

Your candidate, remember, didn’t want his kids going to school in a “racial jungle.”

No one on this thread has presented a shred of evidence that the birther claim was racially motivated. Remember, Trump attacked Warren for lying about her heritage, and she is white.

Because right wingers only do this with people of color.

Stop selecting people who are open to question. If they're black, that's your problem, not mine.

I’d like to point out, BTW, that saw a lot of black and Hispanic Americans in the audience at that Trump rally yesterday.

Do Trumpists think all people of color were born elsewhere and simply aren't able to be in office? Of course exceptions made for people of color who will swear undying love and loyalty to cheetoh king

Nice attempt at putting trump's little birther game on someone else.
To be clear, neither Hillary NOR Trump is racist. There were legitimate inquiries into Obama's birthplace. Which turned out to be incorrect.

Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz are all "people of color."

Trump did not question the birthplace of any of them, while running against them in the primaries.

It's almost like you all pushed for Harris purposely, hoping she'd be shielded from all criticism, because of her ethnicity.

Didn't work.

How many white politicians had their birthplace questioned? Just curious...

As is obvious and anticipated, Birtherism conspiracy theory is still alive and thriving in the racist mind of Donald Trump and his ilk.
So mudslinging is out of bounds in a political campaign? Somebody tell the democrats. He didn't say she was he said he heard this but assumed she was qualified.

Warren had her heritage questioned.

Carson, Cruz, and Rubio did not have theirs questioned, they are all people of color.

If Democrats are in favor of reparations, they are acknowledging that most black Americans were born in this country. Otherwise, they would not be due reparations.

They can’t then turn around and claim that there is some kind of stereotype that black Americans weren’t born here.

So, the one example you were able to come up with has nothing to do with birthplace. M-kay. Thanks for responding...you answered the question, even if you didn't mean to.

They were immigrants who came to the US from 3rd world entities to get theirs.
Harris may be eligible for VP as she was born here but it's obvious that she was
an 'anchor baby'

Like most of the Founding Fathers.

Are you in favor of reparations?

Because giving out reparations implies that nearly all black Americans were born in this country, and have ancestors who were slaves.

You can’t have this both ways, and then try to infer that there’s a sensitive stereotype that many black Americans weren’t born here.

Which is it?

When you claimed that Hillary Clinton originated the birther issue, were you lying or "misinformed?"

As for "a shred of evidence," here you go:

Trump and racism: What do the data say?
Understanding White Polarization in the 2016 Vote for President: The Sobering Role of Racism and Sexism

But don't worry, you're not alone in your denial of reality:
Trump supporters are increasingly isolated in their denial of systemic racism, according to new polling data

First of all how is it Racist? Do you even know the definition of Racism? because this is not Racism! Stop using Racism for everything to make things more extreme then they really are even though they do not involve racism!
If it wasn't racist, he wouldn't say it.

"I heard (but) ... have no idea if that's right" hardly counts as encouraging an idea...
I heard but have no idea if it's right that Trump is a lying racist ass.

Okay, actually I have a pretty good idea.

Yes, he did....

Don't tell Cruz he's a person of color.....he thinks he's white.

Go to your local DA's office and tell them about this horrible "fraud" you've discovered. Please take a video so we can laugh at their response.

PS: There is a whole lotta racism in Trump's base.
