Am I the only one that sees what Trumpo is doing?

Look, he is going to rob the Treasury, here's how:
1. Stop war in Ukraine -- Saves money in Treasury
2. Stop all Renewable Energy projects currently in progress --Saves money in Treasury
3. Kill the $7500 rebate program for Electric Vehicles. --Saves money in Treasury
4. Apply tariffs of 60% on China, 20% everybody else. -- Puts money into the Treasury
5. Kill the NOAA (weather scientists) --Saves money in Treasury

There's probably more coming but after Treasury reaches it's peak goal, it becomes time for
corporate tax break that will favor real estate investment companies. So, while we are paying
higher prices due to tariffs, Trump is laughing all the way to the bank. The current economy
does not need any more stimulus from tax breaks, it already creates 250,000 jobs per month
on average. Why run it red hot and foster inflation again? Watching Trump economics is like
watching a 5 year old with matches and gasoline.
 
This is why liberals need to be made fun of. The idea a man would go thru 8 years of bitter fighting with his opponents, was impeached multiple times and has had numerous civil and criminal cases brought against him so,.........he might one day save a few percentage points in capital gains taxes?


People need to think things thru before they post ridiculous accusations.
 

Each one, each new accusation gets more outrageous but as we both know, this forum does not accurately reflect the real-world view.

The other day a guy I know told me that Biden was going to step down and let Harris become President so she could stop Trump from getting back into office. We have a severe mental health crisis in this country. I would like to understand why there is mass psychosis in this country. Maybe its caused by the fluoride in our water...

He made it worse than it could have been by playing political games like not giving out PPE properly, downplaying the role of masks and other health measures, trying to discredit vaccines while promoting snake oil like ivermectin, etc.

Dude is responsible for the death of a lot of people (especially his own supporters) and making the economy suffer more than necessary.
 
None of that is true, it was going to be a cluster duck no matter who was in charge.

COVID caused the meltdown, but who caused COVID?

Something Dr. Rand Paul is still asking questions about, and the Biden administration is still not turning over documents about.

Those questions are going to get answers come Jan. and the lid is going to get blown off this thing, and we will see who is responsible for those deaths.

If you will believe a 'natural' virus started in a place they just so happened to be doing gain of function research and that the man in charge of that was also the man in charge of fighting it, then I suppose I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you.

nvflash.... moreover, if it wasn't for Fauci continually correcting the dumbass, that death count that falls in the category of needless would have been twice as many. All those pep rallies Trump had with no distancing and no masks. The pathetic orange man was the master of manslaughter genocide.

The federal budget in 2023 was $6.35 trillion.

The deficit was $1.7 trillion.

All the cuts you listed are less than 2% of spending. Yes, even spending on Ukraine is a rounding error, that's how much money the federal government spends. And the tariffs will generate a pittance.

You also somehow failed to mention that Trump is promising numerous tax cuts, which will more than offset whatever savings you imagine those changes will generate.

I.e. he is not going to make the economy "run hotter." He's going to drive up prices, cause shortages of goods and services (especially in agriculture), and almost certainly blame everyone except himself for the resulting inflation.

Either he's a moron who thinks he can control the fabric of reality with his own mind, and escape the consequences of his actions, even though we literally just saw millions toss out the incumbent party because of inflation; or, he's hoping that causing a crisis will give him an opportunity to seize more power and/or influence.

The covid vacancies where correctly discredited. I personally was diagnosed with a chronic disorder as a result of the vaccine along with many others. And you completely shifted what you were talking about. The economy. You complain people died as a result of something that still exists and is no longer treated the same way it was at that time, but the economy closing down, against Trump's wishes, killed people too. People that would actually still be alive today unlike those who would have passed anyway.
 


Fascinating considered we've already seen a Trump 4 year term and his tariffs and we had sub 2% inflation.

People are going to do what they need to do to protect themselves and it’s a president’s duty to provide disaster relief. Trump’s failure to do so hurt the economy. You should have been able to follow this simple point.

Also when Trump was in office, he had low credibility due to his poor behavior and bad ideas, people are not going to simply follow that kind person’s economic wishes. They are going to do what makes sense to them and wait to invest in social economic cohesion during better times. If you want someone with that kind of influence, you need a guy in charge who is a unifier because you will need social capitol. Presidents are not kings and cannot dictate economic outcomes by whim.
