The original graphic, which depicted the Democratic presumptive nominee over a pile of money, contained the text “most corrupt candidate ever” in a six-sided star, reminiscent of the Jewish star of David.

Tsk tsk...

And it was replaced with something worse in many ways..

Unlike the original graphic, the updated image contained the text “America First”, a phrase the Anti-Defamation League has previously asked Trump to stop using because of antisemitic connotations. The phrase gained currency in the 1930s with Americans who wanted the US to avoid involvement in the second world war; most prominent among them was Charles Lindbergh. The American pilotwas welcomed in Nazi Germany several times before the war and in 1939 wrote that “racial strength is vital”.
Lindbergh largely led the America First movement in the months before the war, advocating for neutrality. In its plea to Trump, the ADL described Lindbergh as a man who “sympathized with the Nazis and whose rhetoric was characterized by anti-Semitism and offensive stereotypes”.

So now Donald is also an anti-Semite.. good to know.

Tsk tsk... Grasping.

And no, the image didn't contain the text "America First". It is a Twitter hashtag that accompanied the newly posted image.

And btw, his daughter and grandchildren are Jewish. Any claim that he is anti-Semitic is as asinine as it is stupid.

I'm sure one of his best friends is black too

Trump's original tweet graphic with a six-sided Star of David and a pile of money...

Most reasonable people would view the above as an Antisemitic inference.

After complaints, Trump then tried to clean it up with a red circle replacing the six-sided star.

Was this a re-tweet by Trump or is it a Trump original?

What you think in regards to anyone's friends is irrelevant to this thread.

No. Reasonable and rational folks wouldn't.

It takes an irrational person to make the claim in the first place and the unreasonable to glom onto it and propagate that silliness.

The rational and reasonable position is not to assume something nefarious about it in the first place.

Trump caved to PC.

What a wuss.

Trump original.

I don't use Twitter so I'm not sure how it works. Where would he get the images? Did he pick the six sided star image or is this whole photo something he copied from somewhere else?

Wrong.
It is irrelevant to this thread.

It's relevant to your extremely moronic claim that it's impossible for Trump to be anti-Semitic because he has Jewish family members.

The only moronic claim here has been yours.

That is ridiculous. Whoever made up the graphic picked a star that happened to have six points: That becomes a Star of David? Hardly.

Like the gay's have co opted the rainbow, now you knuckle heads co opted and included all stars in the universe with six points as property of the Jews, even though the proper Star of David is rarely shown to be solid, but rather in line form.

Normal people who are not members of the outrage community, didn't notice the difference. I certainly didn't.

But for you outrage aficionados:

That should keep you going for awhile!

I'm so offended, I think I'll start learning German.

Good grief!

...

Especially six point stars when placed on top of piles of 100 dollar bills. Completely benign.

Even Trump's money-counting "short guys that wear yarmulkes every day" would agree.

John Miller can verify this.

He definitely has a white supremacist working for him. The original tweet's picture originated on a white supremacist forum, and now he has this other reference. Trump needs to get a hold of his people. They may be more destructive to his campaign than he is.

this election is just one big race to the bottom.

Just a taste of what they are saying at Stormfront (and no, I didn't go there, it was on google-cache)

"Since most of Hillary's money is coming from Jew wall street banksters, Hollywood producers, directors and actors, the symbol is quite appropriate."

And the headline on The Daily Stormer is "Glorious Leader Tweets Hillary Image with Dollars and Jew Star" (spinoff of Stormfront that actually reaches *more* people than Stormfront.*

"Hero Trump has made history yet again by tweeting a meme of Hillary Clinton featuring her image with a Star of David over top hundred dollar bills. Inside the Jew star it reads “Most corrupt candidate ever!”

It is indeed true that she is the most corrupt candidate ever, and it is also indeed true that the overwhelming majority of her corruption money comes from Jew sources.

This is, yet again, dog-whistling by The Leader. It comes just after he made some offensive comments about Israel being our friend – he says this for the evangelicals, then he signals to us – his real supporters – that we need not worry, he is just shilling a bit to get into power at which point he will shut down the entire Jew agenda."

*"The SPLC described the site as "the newest up and comer in the heated competition to rule the hate web", which "has in the last six months [up to March 2015] often topped the oldest and largest hate site on the web, Stormfront, in terms of reach and page views, based on Alexa data"

Anglin claimed in May 2016 that the website's traffic had doubled over the last six months, peaking at 120,000 daily visitors"

They hear him. Loud and clear.
