I know the biggest problem in the Middle East is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but we have an imbecile for a President who, instead of taking a crack at solving a real problem, expects to be lavished with praise for getting a couple of non-players to sign an agreement with Israel to maintain the diplomatic relations they already have.

I doubt that they will get their State as long as we have a leader that no longer is requiring a 2 State solution for any agreements in the M.E. Why are the the Palestinians being "isolated"? They are the only ones with a legitimate grievance with Israel. They were the ones thrown out of their homes by the creation of the nation of Israel and any peace agreement must include them. WTF does ISIS have to do with the Palestinians? ISIS was a Sunni group and Hezbollah is Shiite. The USAF with the help of the Kurds beat ISIS . Trump had nothing to do with it.

According to the article, they didn't have diplomatic relations before. I hadn't heard anything about Trump being the man behind it, but I don't follow Middle East news. You've got to start somewhere forming a coalition, or clique, if you'd rather, and this is the start. It's positive news. I have no idea if it's worthy of a Nobel Prize, but the knee jerk reaction by the anti-Trumpers isn't called for, either.
