"Oh, it is possible that Donald, at the end of the day, will be left with nothing but his presidential pension and his union pension from his TV show, because those are the only assets he has that would be protected," he replied. "And given that Donald brags about how much 'he loves money, he cares about money more than anything else,' that's his words, not mine, this is a very troubling for him."

He wouldn't exactly be broke, as those pensions are nothing to sneeze at, but certainly would have to adjust his style of living.

Provided of course he's not in prison. (which I don't see happening for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with him being innocent)

You got him now!!!

And have government protection for the rest of his life. And probably overcharge the government for housing the protection on his property.
If he's broke there will be no property.

Hopefully, The Donald will have a Donald J. Trump Library, which will no doubt be visited by millions of people who are grateful for what he did or tried to do for this country during his four years in office. They would be delighted to pay an admission fee.

Billionaire broke isn't the same thing as regular people broke. He'll probably live on a property owned by the Kushners and find some way to finagle a little income stream from his protection.

All those people lining up for picture books and porn?

I doubt it.

Broke is what I'd put money on. Even at the best of times he's financially accident-prone.

That's not how finances for presidential libraries work.

He could set up his own little shrine for the cult to visit. Or just ask the cult for money online. That seems to be working for him.

Maybe what was done to Canadian truckers can be done to Trump? This freezing/taking/controlling assets concept is really taking hold.

Gotta convict him first.

If there's anyway to punish him, it will be financially. To his supporters, that probably sounds like sour grapes, but I would like to see some sort of justice for the crap he pulled. It won't be jail, I'm sure.

At the very least all the emoluments should be clawed back.

This would amuse me.
