Gaining power through the military is one of the steps on the guideline to becoming a dictator, and that is being seen once again by Trump in Washington and in Chicago

US National Guard troops in Washington to begin carrying weapons, officials say

Aug 24 (Reuters) - U.S. National Guard troops patrolling the streets of Washington D.C. as part of what President Donald Trump said was his crackdown on crime will begin carrying weapons on Sunday night, two officials said.

and.......

Chicago mayor calls Trump's National Guard plan 'most flagrant violation of our Constitution

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson on Sunday called President Donald Trump’s plan to send the National Guard to Chicago a "flagrant violation of our Constitution." Brandon Johnson claimed homicides dropper 30% as Trump labeled him "grossly incompetent"

Getting rid of dissidents is one of the steps that Dictators follow to gain power. That is clearly what Trump is doing.

Here is a list of things that Trump has done that are abuses of power

Trump has used government powers to target more than 100 perceived enemies

Is a dictatorship what the Republicans want to see here in our nation?

Anyone who denies this or doesn't care about this, is a fool, likely wearing a red hat and has sore knees.

Trump continues to follow the guidelines for becoming a Dictator.

Well, DUH!!!

If you didn't see that coming long ago you just might be a MAGAT et al.

One more clear example:

The worst thing that is happening is that Trump is lying about crime. It is not increasing but decreasing. Worse still, is that he is keying his dictatorial attempts on Democratic led cities and states and not where crime is going up, which is actually in red cities and red states. His lies about trying to bring down crime, is simply political conning. Chart below shows exactly what is happening.

In 30 of the biggest cities, in 25 of them, crime is down and in the five where crime has increased, 3 of them are red cities, and the top two being in Texas and in Ft Worth, it has gone up 133%. Trump has not mentioned that city at all. I wonder why?

Authoritarianism isn't coming. Its here. The next election is going to be hell.

I don't see how they can. Let's say a court says enough is a enough, holds Trump or his officials in criminal contempt and orders their arrests.

The arrest orders would be carried out by US Marshals.

US Marshals work for Trump.
Wouldn't even get that far, Trump has enough control of the courts to get contempt proceedings quashed.
