Trump Claim: Ted Cruz Killed JFK, or Something Like That

The National Enquirer has reported that Ted Cruz's father was in cahoots with Lee Harvey Oswald somehow. Trump has been trumpeting this report. Oddly enough, the Drudge Report hasn't picked it up although just about everyone else has making for a strange inversion in the news cycle. I suspect that Drudge senses what a buffoon this makes Trump look like.

Trump didn't make that claim - the Enquirer did. Trump mentioned the piece, he didn't agree with it, just mentioned it's existence and commented that it sounded crazy. The exact same thing Lyin Ted the massive whiner did with the PAC ad that ran a few days before the Utah primary.

Trump is only playing the same game he's played all year: say whatever ridiculous, outrageous thing he calculates will gain him the most attention, period.

The clip I saw had Trump complaining that nobody was talking about the story.
