“Couldn’t care less” sums Trump up."The president was chaperoned by Florida’s hard-right governor, Ron DeSantis, who hailed the tented camp on mosquito-infested land 50 miles west of Miami as an example for other states that supported Trump’s mass deportation agenda. “The snakes are fast, but alligators [are faster],” he said. “We’re going to teach them how to run away from an alligator. Don’t run in a straight line, look, like this, and you know what? Your chances go up about 1%. Not a good thing.”
At a press conference following the tour, Trump was equally dismissive of concerns about conditions in the Everglades, where the daily heat index in July regularly exceeds 100F (37.8C). ".“It might be as good as the real Alcatraz. A little controversial, but couldn’t care less,” he said.
The Everglades camp is opening as the number of deaths of those in Ice custody continues to climb. A 75-year-old Cuban man, who had been in the US for almost 60 years, died in Ice custody in Miami on 26 June, the 13th death in the agency’s facilities since October."

Thousands in tents at the height of Florida's extremely hot season and hurricane season. What the hell had happened to human decency when people think that is OK,?
These morons crossed hot deserts to break our laws. Now they can bake serving the consequence."The president was chaperoned by Florida’s hard-right governor, Ron DeSantis, who hailed the tented camp on mosquito-infested land 50 miles west of Miami as an example for other states that supported Trump’s mass deportation agenda. “The snakes are fast, but alligators [are faster],” he said. “We’re going to teach them how to run away from an alligator. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
What difference does it make? Please clarify which crimes get one deported and which crimes get one elected.
What difference does it make?
Or become president.Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
Makes me cry. How despicable.Thousands in tents at the height of Florida's extremely hot season and hurricane season. What the hell had happened to human decency when people think that is OK,?
Too bad that didn't apply to TrumpDon't do the crime if you can't do the time.
People entering illegally clearly have already proven they have no respect for our laws. I don't want them here especially when there are million of law abiding people waiting to immigrate to our country. Law abiding immigrants make this country great and lawless people are a danger to the law abiding citizens. Law abiding are welcome and lawless get the boot as it should be.Spare me the cliches.
In traffic, drivers all around me are "doing the crime" all the time by exceeding the speed limit. This can be very dangerous. Being an undocumented immigrant is not, unless he's doing something like exceeding the speed limit.
But when a speeder is caught, they appear before a judge who generally let's them off on a lesser plea!
Why such a severe penalty for people who not only don't do you harm, but who contribute heartily to our economic growth when dangerous drivers get off easy?
That people enjoy this cruelty against them is a national sickness.
