Exactly what they did, because he has no proof. What he was going to do was lie some more in attempt to influence the jury pool, which would have violated the terms of his bail.

They have been saying the proof was coming tomorrow or next week since a few days after the election........but it never comes because it doesnt exist.

Of course Trump is not going to debate. He never was. But teasing the MAGAs and QAnons on for a while enabled him to increase his money grab. All his people throwing money in to support their leader.

Trump said today that he was so much smarter than the other debaters that he didn't want to show them up. It wouldn't be fair, he said.

When was the last time Trump backed out of anything because it wouldn't be fair to others?

The real reason Trump is not going to debate is because the debate is going to be a total cluster****. A stage full of people tripping over each other while rushing to stick their heads up Trump's ass. They love Trump. The damn sure aren't going to challenge him. They can't.

Some of the high school boys in the little town that i live near were playing basketball after school and i happened to be there on other business. I watched for a bit and they asked if i wanted to play. I said "no, i dont want embarass you guys, how would it look if an old guy was out here dunking on you?"

They laughed.

The difference is that we all understood that i was being funny.

Trump says it knowing people will believe him.

Trump support is weird stuff.

I wonder if his lawyers got a call that said, if he does this Monday night thing, he's going to jail? He's more afraid of jail than he lets on.

Do you mean an eventual conviction or put in jail now because of contempt or similar?

IMO, he wont go to jail, period, but I'm hoping for house arrest for the rest of his lousy low-life existence. And no golf.

House arrest or jail now because of his big mouth. I also find it hard to see him actually getting jailed, but he might have gotten the threat of it for this Monday stunt.
