Trump Campaign Fails To Produce Evidence Of Voter Fraud In PA Lawsuit

Interesting how liberals keep ignoring this...

Paterson, NJ, to hold new election in City Council race marred by voter fraud charges | Fox News

Are you all guaranteeing to us that if we have universal mail-in voting, there will be no instances of voter fraud?

If there are, what is your plan? And how will you prevent the nation from degrading into chaos?

You keep ignoring that this was detected and a remedy is in place. What your Dirtbag hopes to do is not let people vote at all which makes his cheating irremediable.

What I find interesting is on DonaldTrump.com a pop up window loads that says, "request a ballot"
Home | Donald J. Trump for President

Guess it is ok if you plan to vote for Trump.

As far as "universal mail in ballots". Some States may be ready for it, some may not. Because of CV19 I would suggest that the use of absentee ballots where someone requests a ballot be used as it has in the past. I also would suggest we have a voting week for in person voting. May help with long lines and reducing the crowds.

Years ago when Mission Impossible was on TV there was an episode about a country election that was going to be rigged. The voting machines being used had been altered to change a percentage of votes cast for the challenger to the incumbent. For those concerned about mail in voter fraud. How sure are you that the different scanners and voting machines could not be rigged?

One thing is clear--If the Dem party can't mobilized and get people out for early voting as soon as it begins in all states that have it and make sure people who want absentee ballots can get them then they really need to examine whether it should be a political party at all. It appears that they're on top of this but in order to overcome that massive cheating Dirtbag every effort has to be squared to make sure voters overcome that cheating.

Yeah, your Dear Dirtbag has already give up pretending he's not going to call the election a fraud if he loses and he knows he's going to lose if he doesn't get his way of preventing people from voting. Here's what he told his favorite buttboy Hannity yesterday:

So, he no longer says that "we'll have to see" crap. He's already declared that he's not going to accept the result of the election no matter how massively he loses. You're backing a dictatorship in the making and that's treason.
Do you expect your insult ridden post to be taken seriously?

Both Parties need to get their members to vote. Both Parties need to work on reaching Independents and get them to vote.

With President Trump statements I have no doubt that if does not win he will take the election to court. It is interesting how he is acknowledging the existence of Q without really saying he believes the conspiracy theory involving Q.

It's just a fact that there's been more 'in-person voter' fraud than there has ever been with mail in ballots. In Florida, almost 30% of votes in the last presidential election were cast by mail, and voters did not have to provide an excuse, be absent from the state, or go through an enhanced screening process as Trump wants to do now. Does this mean that the 30% of votes cast by mail were fraudulent in 2015? Would Trump dare to claim they were since he won the state of Florida? The kind of massive fraud described by Trump is simply farcical.

FACT CHECK: Trump's Tweets On N.J. Election Fraud Case : NPR

When President Trump tweeted Sunday night about alleged fraud in a May special election in New Jersey, he tried to wrap it into his ongoing effort to claim voting by mail is less secure than in-person voting.

"Absentee Ballots are fine. A person has to go through a process to get and use them. Mail-In Voting, on the other hand, will lead to the most corrupt Election is USA history. Bad things happen with Mail-Ins," he tweeted. "Just look at Special Election in Patterson, N.J. 19% of Ballots a FRAUD!"

But election law experts say that Trump's spotlight on the case also shows both how rare these kinds of cases are and the safeguards in place to protect the integrity of ballots.

--

Last Thursday, those rumors became criminal allegations. New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal charged Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, Councilman-elect Alex Mendez and two other men with voter fraud and other crimes.

The investigation started after the U.S. Postal Inspection Service tipped off state law enforcement officials to hundreds of mail-in ballots stuffed in a Paterson mailbox. Other bundled ballots were discovered in another nearby city.

In New Jersey, voters are expected to mail or submit their mail-in ballots themselves unless they certify a "bearer" to do it on their behalf. A bearer can collect and deliver ballots for no more than three voters in an election, and a candidate in the election cannot serve as a bearer.

Jackson, the councilman, had more than three mail-in ballots that were not his and that did not identify him as the bearer, authorities said. Mendez allegedly delivered mail-in ballots that were not his even though he was a candidate and is accused of submitting voter registration applications for people who were not eligible to vote in that election.

"We will not allow a small number of criminals to undermine the public's confidence in our democratic process," said Attorney General Grewal.

The Passaic County Board of Elections rejected 3,190 ballots, about 19% of the mail-in ballots submitted, for the May 12 election in Paterson, but it is unclear how many were connected to the fraud allegations.

In fact, there are many more common reasons for a ballot to be thrown out, such as a signature that doesn't match election records or if the ballot was received after the deadline.

It was also the first election in New Jersey conducted entirely vote-by-mail, and officials have warned of hiccups in matching signatures, processing paper ballots and receiving the mail on time.

Although critics including Trump have claimed that a surge in mail-in voting will leave the election system prone to fraud, voting rights advocates in New Jersey say some of the same security features that exist for in-person voting also feature in vote-by-mail.

"There is a huge myth about voter fraud in this country," said Jesse Burns, executive director of the League of Women Voters of New Jersey.

When voters cast a ballot in person in New Jersey, they are required to sign a poll book to match their signature to election records. The same is true of mail-in ballots, and election officials check the ballot to make sure the signatures match.

During the state's primary on July 7, election officials will notify voters if their ballot was rejected because of a signature mismatch. Burns said it was not only a way for voters to ensure their vote is counted, but it also functions as a warning that another person may have attempted to vote fraudulently in their name.

UC Irvine's Hasen said the security measures used in New Jersey were likely enough to raise the suspicion of authorities. "Even on this small scale, what you see is that having a conspiracy like this to try to affect the outcome of an election is very difficult to do without detection."

Burns suggested the rare instances of election fraud are not typically committed by individual voters themselves but rather organized groups.

"This is not a voter fraud issue," she said. "It's crimes being committed against voters."

Hasen emphasized that the Paterson case shows how difficult carrying out the kind of widespread fraud Trump insists is possible.

"Imagine trying to swing the outcome of a presidential election, how many people you would have to get involved or how many ballots you would have to try to intercept without detection in order to try to have a meaningful impact on races that are typically decided by tens of thousands of votes if not more in a particular state," said Hasen.

Would anyone take the bet against Dirtbag calling the election invalid as soon as FL reports Biden having a healthy lead?

Republicans, like Mark Meadows, Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller are just doing what republicans have done for the past four years. They come up with scams like their 'we build the wall' scam, and they're using propaganda and Fox as tools to say to his base; "this is for you, we're doing this for the safety of the American people" while all they're doing is lining their pockets.

They're nothing but con men and criminals but these con men are working inside the confines and using the shield of the US Government and Trump is protected by Bill Barr. This is the strategy of this bizarre, bastardized version of what used to be the republican party. Many years ago, I was a registered Republican and this is certainly not the republican party that I belonged to, it doesn't even resemble it a little bit.

But there's always been a culture of criminality around Trump and his inner circle. It's not just Steve Bannon who was chief strategist to Trump, it's men like Paul Manafort who was his campaign manager, Rick Gates his deputy campaign manager, Roger Stone who was Trump's close political confidant, it was Michael Cohen his personal attorney, it was Michael Flynn, Trump's National Security Advisor. It's like who was close to the president that hasn't been indicted at this point?

These men aren't just little pesky peculiarities in the Trump circle, they're prominent features. And every time another crooked guy gets caught, Trump claims "I don't really know them", "we're not really close".

There's no light that shines between Trump and all of these criminal men. Federal and state prosecutors have even been investigating Donald Trump personally because he tried to deduct his $130,000 payment to a porn star. The Federal investigation mysteriously disappeared after Bill Barr came onto the scene but the state investigation did not, and they subpoenaed Trump's tax returns. The courts have ruled time and time again, including a ruling that came down just yesterday that he must turn over those documents to the state prosecutors. His lawyers have until Sept 1st to come up with another appeal and they will, but he's lost every time and the NY state prosecutors will get a court order to get them sooner or later.

There is a big and noticeable difference.

Right wing fundraising scams and scam pacs have been around for some time. And they have steadily gotten worse and more prevalent in the last few years.

Much of GOP “grass roots” fundraising is for scams like the BuildTheWall. Indeed, theirs is a typical blueprint.

They take their lead from televangelists, who have spent decades ginning up their audience and convincing them to throw money at them.

Ben Carson did this as a pretend Presidential campaign.

What makes this different, is that this is being done by Trump’s senior strategist.

So, it’s about as official a scam and there is.

And very typical of the moral sewer that is Trump world.

After all, it was just this. time last year that Crazy Uncle Rudy was sent to blackmail the President of Ukraine on Trump’s behalf and for his personal gain.

Would anyone take the bet against Dirtbag calling the election invalid as soon as FL reports Biden having a healthy lead?

He already has. He’s declared twice now that he only loses if its rigged.

I was hoping a Cult of Dirtbag would take me up on it but no one did. I take that as not only approval but enthusiastic support for his intention to pull off a putsch.

They know he can’t win. GOP knows he can’t win. He knows it. Rigging and bed wetting is all they have left.

He knows he's going to lose and bigly!!!. So his only hope is to sow discord and lies at a rate and quantity "like no one has ever seen." He's following the dictator playbook by chapter and verse.

And despite the lack of evidence to support their claim, and plenty of evidence to the contrary, the trumpists will go on insisting there's a danger of massive election fraud.

The only fraud here is the GOP trying to stop people voting.

Any "voter fraud' is minuscule at best, and usually the GOP is behind it.

But that's what you people are best at. Projection. Whatever you're guilty of, you then flip it and say you're perceived political enemies are the ones guilty of it.

Yes, a judge invalidated after allegations of voter fraud. There were procedural errors. What the judge wrote was

The May 12 election for Paterson's Third Ward city council was "rife with mail in vote procedural violations," Judge Ernest Caposela said in his ruling, though he left the decision on whether there was voter fraud to the criminal courts.

and a few people got charged .. however

"It was a local election in Paterson. Some guys tried to screw with the system," Murphy said on MSNBC Thursday. "I view it as a really positive data point. They got caught."
A mail carrier was also fired as part of the voter fraud allegations from the May election, according to a USPS Inspector General report obtained by CNN. The report doesn't reveal the name of the postal worker but states that the person was issued a notice of removal on May 19 and charged with "incomplete disposition of mail."

Procedural errors are not voter fraud.

The implication is that these "procedural errors" were intentional.

Hence the title of the article.

More Jersey Democrats Caught Committing Voter Fraud with Mail-In-Ballots | News Break

This was all verified by Ted Cruz as well, in terms of a history of mail in voting fraud in Texas...

Ted Cruz says President Trump '''absolutely right''' to call out mail-in ballot fraud concerns | Fox News

“In Texas, we have stringent standards on when mail-in ballots are allowed and the origins of that. You go back to the Texas Legislature when they adopted those standards. It was at a time when there were a lot of Texas Democrats and there was a lot of voter fraud, particularly, in Texas Democratic primaries,” Cruz said.

You can go back and look at the legislative history where elected Democrats in the Texas Legislature were describing how mail-in ballots would be used to steal votes from unsuspected Democratic voters -- many of them African-American or Hispanic who didn’t know that it was unscrupulous partisans who were stealing their ballots and casting them for whatever candidate had paid or whatever candidate had hired them to go engage in stealing votes.

N.J. Election Fraud Case Draws A Trump Tweet But Suggests Safeguards Are Working

Gawd, Reuben. Every time I'm tempted to think you couldn't embarrass yourself (not saying you'd be able to feel embarrassment--of course, you've shown you're incapable of that) you outdo yourself. Citing Cruz filtered through the puke funnel of FartzNooz has to be the very definition of dedication to lying and general scumbaggery.

Again, Minuscule...

This is what cultists like Reuben do: Freak out over some relatively minor, local (especially if it's urban and black) issue and ignore the actual vote fraud that took place in 2018 in the NC 9th CD by a Republican operative which caused the election to be nullified and a new one called. That's what real looks like and you're right--it's overwhelmingly Republican. Not only that but it did involved dumping of absentee ballots. So, when Dirtbag tells us that absentee ballots (not vote by mail) are "good," I guess this is what he means: they're good when Republicans use them to cheat.

Conman Don knows that voter fraud is not a problem. He just wants to be able to scream fraud if and when he loses the election.

How about voter fraud in New Jersey? Does that count as fraud to be wary of?

What happened to the Democratic narrative
"There is no evidence of voter fraud in this country.?
Believe me, if it happened in NJ, it could happen anywhere.

NJ Election Invalidated Over Rampant Voter Fraud...Which I Was Told Doesn't Happen in the US
Matt Vespa
8/23/2020 4:00:00 AM - Matt Vespa

Voter fraud really doesn’t happen here. It’s a right-wing talking point. It just doesn’t happen here. These are all the things I’ve heard about voter fraud peddled by Democrats and their allies in the media. Well, in Paterson, New Jersey, it shows that a) voter fraud can happen here; and b) what the 2020 election could look like if this mail-in voting scheme pushed by Democrats over COVID is fully enacted. Folks, we’re heading for a train wreck. The US Postal Service warned at least 40 states that not all of their ballots could be counted in time for the 2020 election (via WaPo):

Anticipating an avalanche of absentee ballots, the U.S. Postal Service recently sent detailed letters to 46 states and D.C. warning that it cannot guarantee all ballots cast by mail for the November election will arrive in time to be counted — adding another layer of uncertainty ahead of the high-stakes presidential contest.

The letters sketch a grim possibility for the tens of millions of Americans eligible for a mail-in ballot this fall: Even if people follow all of their state’s election rules, the pace of Postal Service delivery may disqualify their votes.

Very few states have extensive experience with mail-only voting, Washington is one of them. They count all the ballots, but it takes a couple of days. Yet, they’ve been doing this for quite some time. New Jersey, which recently announced that they will adopt mail-in voting for the 2020 election, does not have experience doing this en masse at all. But back to Paterson.

Back in June, it was reported that nearly 20 percent of the ballots in the city’s municipal elections were done via mail-in voting were invalidated over fraud. And yes, it’s so bad that even a hard-core Democratic state like New Jersey was forced to charge people for this crime. Last week, the election itself was tossed out by a judge over the rampant fraud (via NYT):

In the days before New Jersey’s third-largest city held municipal elections in May entirely by mail, postal workers became suspicious when they found hundreds of ballots bundled together.

The discovery triggered an investigation that led to charges of voter fraud against two local elected leaders and resulted in nearly 20 percent of the ballots being rejected. It also prompted President Trump to cite the case as an example of how mail-in voting can corrupt elections, though election experts staunchly disagree.

On Wednesday, a New Jersey judge ruled that the election in Paterson, N.J., had been irreversibly tainted and ordered a new vote to be held in November to settle the race for the City Council seat.

The superior court judge, Ernest M. Caposela, wrote that the election “was not the fair, free and full expression of the intent of the voters.”

It’s not the only electoral disaster to hit the Tri-State area. In New York’s primaries, it took weeks to could the deluge of ballots—that cannot happen for a national election. These states simply do not have the experience or the capabilities to do their elections by mail-in only. To game out a 2020 scenario, the chaos that would ensue from such delays would make the rioting in Minneapolis and the leftist upheaval in Portland and Seattle look like Sesame Street. Maybe that’s exactly what Democrats wanted. Every move they’ve made under the Trump White House has been done to maximize dysfunction, economic pain, and mayhem among ordinary Americans, with the defund the police effort being the most overt.
