Trump approval rating at all-time high
by John Gage | March 24, 2020 04:03 PM
President Trump's approval rating has hit an all-time high after it went up 5 percentage points within a month after a majority of the public said it approved of how he has handled the coronavirus outbreak.
The poll released Tuesday by Gallup shows Trump has a 49% approval rating, which ties his highest approval rating from January of this year.
The president received high approval numbers for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic. The poll found 60% of voters approved of Trump's response to the pandemic. 94% of Republicans approved, along with 60% of independents and 27% of Democrats.
Favorability among presidents has typically risen in times of crisis. George W. Bush had his approval rating go up over 35 points after 9/11. After the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Franklin Roosevelt added a 12-point boost to his approval rating.
A recent poll from Monmouth University showed that more of the public approves of Trump's behavior during the public health crisis than they do of the media's behavior.

Good news, not that you'd ever know this from watching the MSM. Ordinary people (at least not those who are not hardcore Democrats or are members of the mainstream news media, but I repeat myself) are rallying behind the president in a time of crisis. 11% of those polled do not approve of his presidency yet still approve of his handling of the outbreak.
I wouldn't count on this to last to November though. As soon as the crisis is over, I would expect Trump's approval to "plummet" (by which I mean fall from 49% to 44%, a 5% drop. It's all relative baby!)

Aka the msm which apparently faux news is exempt from for...... reasons... doesnt kiss twump’s ass enough.
I think they are leaving the cult. TDS is getting tested by the President looking Presidential.Fake news. Nobody who wasn't in the cult already suddenly joined it.
The poll numbers aren't coming from Fox News so your misguided hatred is once again on full display
The op claims the msm doesnt want us to know derp de derp. Yes i loathe fox news so what? Got a problem?
I have a real problem with the education system that created people like you who are so bent on massive central gov't proving for your own personal responsibility needs by spending in the name of compassion yet only creating dependence. I do feel sorry for people like you probably won't amount to much with that kind of attitude making you a slave of the taxpayers taking their funds to survive

So the msm isnt trying to hide it eh?From the linked article:

Monmouth is not associated with Fox News as far as I know.

What's his approval rating in Rasmussen? How come Trump and his minions aren't talking about that any more?

Well what is it?
I got a problem with people like you who failed simple civics courses in favor or faux news lies and propaganda along with red scare chicanery. We live in a society, get over it.
It's hard to be a Republican these days. One minute they are following their dear leader calling every poll except Rasmussen "fake news", and when Gallup once in a blue moon has him slightly above a subpar approval rating (but really still subpar), suddenly they believe in polls again. But Trump's approval in Rasmussen hasn't been particularly good lately...which is why the idiot hasn't tweeted about it recently, and his supporters have been quiet about it. They only dance when the puppet master tells them to dance.

Suggest you pay attention to the dates of the polls
And yet, his overall approval rating is still in the gutter, including with Rasmussen.
Nice job cherry picking though, it's par for the course.
Last I checked? Something like 46% approval 53% disapproval. Don't worry, your leader will tweet about it if he hits 50% again, and call Gallup "fake news" the moment it goes back down to 42%-45%.
This is totally anecdotal, but there are three people in my life who are completely non-political but who have always been a good barometer as to where much of the public is on a given issue. In the case of this virus, all three are very tuned in and all three have the exact same take. They watch the presidents daily briefings and like what they hear. They then tune into the news and hear takes that completely contradict what their own ears told them. The truth is, Trump is handling this well and thats why the libs are so pissed.
