And your evidence of who is at fault...where?
I assume you mean "popular" with Putin who sees Syria as an outpost of the new USSR. That does not mean he is popular with Syrians. The Syrian uprising was a predictable side effect of the overthrow of Saddam and yes WE started that war which destabilized the entire M.E. So now you wish to throw up your hands and leave the innocents to the slaughter.
One should read anothers post before commenting on it. I don't think I ever used the word 'popular'
Look Syria was relatively stable before the Arab Spring. No matter what Obama before or Trump now does Syria
wi;ll never be stable again. Leave all the fighting factions alone, it was ruled by a 15% minority for many years,
a country with as much diversity as Syria continues to have is always a candidate for catastrophe, let's
be happy that the US has such a huge majority 70% that it's unlikely that the tension between majority & minority
will unlikely cause turmoil until the 70% begins to trend downward, then brace yourselves & look out!
I agree the much of the M.E. are living under false borders, the question is why support a butcher who's only claim to power is heredity and brutality? We started ALL of this in Iraq and the Pottery Barn rule applies. You should have thought twice about voting for Bush.

Nonsense. GWB achieved victory in Iraq. BHO threw it away and that's what led to this. Had GWB been able to serve a third term none of this would have happened.
GWB overthrew a dictator and destabilized the entire region. Nothing we did could have changed that fact.
#1) I did vote for Bush in 2000, but became so worried he'd invade Iran next I skipped the 2004 election, then got into a
habit of skipping voting, Trump was the first guy I voted for since 2000. Trump has too many horseshoes to bend, I will be
very upset with him if he indulges into intrusion in Syria.
By 2009 he had achieved victory. The problems today derive from mistakes made after that.
You just don't get it. You can't overthrow one dictator when the whole region has nothing but dictators. We should have been prepared to go into every country in the M.E. if we wanted Saddam.
You might as well get paid since you are spouting Putin's fake news and propaganda. I suppose you might just be another clueless pawn.
I can see you're not interested in debate, and prefer instead petty insults.
