Sounds to me like campaign finance law violations trying to influence the election. Trump's biggest mistake is in calling these things "fake news". He should have called it out for what it is, extreme bias and unfairness of the MSM. No one expects MSNBC, Fox News, and the like to be "fair and balanced" but the MSM, such as ABC, CBS, NBC, SNL, and the like should be fair and balanced in their coverage and are indeed the enemy of the people if they can't be fair and balanced. I used to love watching the Tonight Show with Jay Leno because his monologues would be fair and balanced. He would pick on everyone fairly and equally. Every talk show today is just nonstop anti-Trump. Leno wouldn't do that.

trump has mentioned he would like to abolish the first amendment several times. He admires countries like Russia, North Korea and Saudi Arabia where free speech is prohibited and the media only reports positive news about their leaders.

trump is a threat to the US democracy and the trumpers don't care what damage he does to the country. trumpers would be happy if America turns into another Russia or North Korea.

I have heard statements like this for decades. Only the name has changed.
Yet our country keeps chugging right along just fine.
WE are the only ones that can really screw up our personal future.
Once you have done a little more living, you will come to know NO ONE sitting in the oval office affects your personal life in any way.

That is unless you let politics get under your skin and let yourself be controlled by and react to all the rhetoric you see and hear.
THEN, it will be a problem, but only a personal problem to yourself if you become "that guy" who only wants to argue politics and gets red-faced about it.
THEN you will be avoided by almost everyone.

The show has changed significantly from what it use to be. The few times I've watched more current versions I've longed for the old SNL. However, with that said, I definitely get a kick the current Trump skits.
