It’s a given that Traitor Trump will attempt to bully Collins and take over.

I agree that Collins will likely be courteous and not interrupt Trump mid-lie, but will counter his lies with facts.




And not that it really matters, I hope Collins does not improperly address Traitor Trump as “Mr. President” or “President Trump”.
 

I am concerned Collins may not be up to the task. She is very inexperienced. Nothing more than a White House correspondent just 2 years ago.
 
I have zero desire to help CNN boost their ratings after such a cynical move. They helped to normalize Trump last time and I am sure they will do their best to boost him again. After all, money above everything else, right?

Agreed. John King or Anderson Cooper would have been a much better choice. I am afraid the big shots at CNN are purposefully putting her in a bad position in order to aid Trump.

I don't trust them anymore.

None of those asking questions from the Town Hall crowd in NH will challenge Donnie in any way and Kaitlan will not be able to challenge him effectively either. This formate is tailor made for Donnie. That is my prediction.

The very first question asked should be "do you Donald Trump acknowledge now that Joe Biden is President and that he won the election fairly". Donnie must answer both. Depending on what happens with that I would be inclined to fold the whole show. But of course that will not happen.

Sad, CNN truly sad. Are you this hard up for ratings?

The 31 year-old was Chief White House correspondent for CNN. Just one of several very impressive achievements for a relative “youngster” professional journalist.

I don't disagree with the fact that she's a very sharp host. But with the direction I've seen CNN go in the past months, the pessimist in me thinks they may be setting her up to fail with Trump.

Not to cause her failure, but to boost Trump on the national stage. A total disgrace.
