The video makes a valid point imo- Democratic mayors, members of congress, and senators bandied about buzzwords and catch phrases while their voters rampaged and destroyed. For example, Minneapolis is now seeing record violence, and is up +20 homicides over this time last year. Most of the real estate currently listed for sale in Minneapolis was put up for sale in the month following George Floyd's death, when Democratic mayor Frey allowed rioters and looters to seize police precincts, and the Minneapolis city council announced plans to defund the police.

great ad. we had twenty shootings in Cincinnati last weekend. 4 -6 killed. In a city that has been run by democrats for decades. The Sheriff in the county is a democrat. The chief of police is a democrat. The mayor is a democrat. Cannot blame Trump for that.

Whoever scripted the DNC Convention conveniently forgot that the Minneapolis Police Department was under the supervision of a Democratic mayor, and a Democratic governor.

In memory of George Floyd, let's get the Democratic officials out of office.

Why isn't Trump protecting us from these rioters?

Trump said he was the law and order president!

Help us, Trump! Help!

44 years later, and nothing has changed. The republican party candidate sets the priorities, directing the attention of "the base" away from the practical priorities of the average member of "the base", kitchen table concerns. IOW, inner city Milwaukee or Portland is not a rational, kitchen table concern of an Idaho or an Iowa voter, the elephant sized concern is actually the erosion of "one man, one vote" representation through the direct intervention of concentrated wealth.

'Supreme Inequality' Argues That America's Top Court Has Become Right-Wing : NPR
Feb. 24, 2020
....A new book examines the conservative direction the Supreme Court has headed in over the past 50 years, ever since Nixon became president. The author, my guest Adam Cohen, writes, for five decades, the court has, with striking regularity, sided with the rich and powerful against the poor and weak in virtually every area of the law. He says, in campaign finance law, the court has opened the floodgates to money from wealthy individuals and corporations. In election law, it's upheld rules and practices that make it more difficult for the poor and racial minorities to vote. In criminal law, it's favored prosecutors so consistently that it's contributed significantly to the nation's mass incarceration crisis. And on a wide variety of issues, the court has ruled against the poor.....

Q: Mr. Trump, what is your policy on handling the coronavirus?

Trump: ..not my responsibility.

Q: But Mr. Trump, over 170,000 Americans have died under your leadership..

Trump: It is what it is. Did you see Michele Obama...she said only 150K died...obviously she prerecorded her speech.

Q: Huh?

Trump: That's a nasty question...you're fake news...get him out of here.

I cant imagine there being much of a market of people looking to buy into that mess which is a good thing IMO. The people who live in that community need to fix that mess instead of fleeing from it.

NO, the Dems are not responsible for the deplorable economic and social conditions in large Dem-controlled cities.

The only responsible party is the residents who live there.

Those residents will have to get their act together for there to be any marked improvement.

That likelihood, IMHO, is unlikely.

I wish you had had an option for "Absolutely".

Of course they did. Democrats have controlled Chicago since 1937. Portland since 1957 (with the exception of ONE GOP administration for 2 years in 1979), Seattle since 1969. Detroit since 1962. Minneapolis since 1961. Atlanta since 1879. New Orleans since 1872. Baltimore since 1967. And its the same in every major city across the country. Rat party 'leaders' controlling the mayors of, the city councils, the District Attorneys office, the police forces, the housing programs, the education system, the economic development plans, the budgets....every single aspect and in every single instance they have destroyed the black American community. Those are just the facts. The tragedy is the same idiot leftists that put them in power will just close their eyes tighter and keep voting for the same corrupt inept pieces of **** like they always do and then will sit back and shriek about Trump or the GOP or anyone and everything BUT the actual people creating the rat infested ****holes.

Democrats created this bull****. Democrats own the ****holes.

Thanks for that, great points. We who live in liberal cities see first hand the results of their policies.

Before they blamed Trump for urban crime, libs blamed the NRA, responsible gun owners, and abstract, unproven theories like systemic racism. They've now transitioned to their one-size-fits-all, blame Trump for everything game.

But Dems are the ones championing demographic changes throughout the country. They're the ones who believe that with those demographic changes comes power, and they've been right so far.

But you can blame a democrat for the shootings. Obviously Cincinnati needs stricter gun laws.

when the people doing the shooting are already facing 5-10 years in the federal penitentiary for merely possessing the firearms they used, it seems as if you suggestion is completely worthless

Over 80% of the GDP in this country is generated in cities ran by Democrats. Democrats run well over 95% of the major cities in America and have for decades.

Right-wingers point to Detroit as a city ran by Democrats. Well so is Dallas, Houston, Austin, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Charlotte, Atlanta, Boston, and so on. If it were not for Democrat ran major cities, we would have the economy of a third world country. Red states like Mississippi are so dependent on wealth transfers from taxpayers in those cities, that they would have the infrastructure of failed states were it not for them. Moreover, these cities are where the majority of Americans choose to live.

Especially when said policies have their roots in conservative programs...like Obamacare did (remember, both W and Romney both had VERY similar programs either in effect or in the wings).

And for the more local, I'd like to point here in Baltimore when O'Malley was mayor crime went down and the city became more efficient in most of its agencies. It was largely due to City Stat...which comes from the system that Giuliani used to clean up NYC with...actually, almost exactly the same.

Side note: everyone knows, except for the fringe elements of both left and right, that Trump did NOT create COVID-19...but he IS responsible for pi$$-poor response that has resulted in far more deaths (over 170K) than should have happened.

Exactly, and who the hell wants to live in Oklahoma City? If it were not for energy companies there, they would not have a soul living there.

"4-6 killed"? I would think that they could increase the accuracy of their count. Dead people are pretty easy to count actually.

Well being that the majority of US cities are run by Democrats and only a few cities are even having issues, how is it most are not having issues, is it due to their policies also. If you are going to blame them for the bad then you have to blame them for the good also.
