Bernie and a handful are. But yeah, you wouldn't know it. Anecdotally, I've seen a ton of ads on my YouTube and Roku from conservative-leaning orgs fighting to 'keep Trump's tax cuts'. I've seen absolutely nothing from left-leaning orgs fighting against it. I guess part of the problem is that fighting to end a big tax break is awkward and hard to explain, but I think it speaks to a bigger problem, which is that the Democrats just don't know what they're fighting for and worse, they don't know how to sell it.

I also think a bigger part of the problem is that they lack warriors. I mean where the **** is our LBJ now? Where are our Richard Daleys? What happened to the ruthless machine operators Democrats used to be known for? If the Democrats want to have *any* relevance at all other than being a speedbump (or maybe roadkill is more accurate these days), they need to get back to being that party.
 
This is the bigger problem in my opinion, and in part it's because what I keep hearing in interviews with strategists is they sound afraid of anything that might set up the MAGAGOP from having good campaign ads against them. I heard this exact rationale from a Democratic strategist railing against Mamdani's win in the NTC Democratic primaries. I couldn't help but think if there are others that timid and fearful, the party's done for. What she failed to realize is why he won, and regardless of whether his ideas are actionable or not, he believes in them and will go to bat to make them happen which is why he won. This is also the reason Trump won, and those thinking they can run the old playbook are going to lose because what's been proven in Trump's victories and now Mamdani's, is that this is the new approach to politics.

This too. I guess Newsom can be counted since he's been pretty vocal and has made attempts at stopping Trump's actions in California.

So on ****ing point! This country is so doomed. A country as supposedly rich, powerful, etc. as ours, to have so many people that need assistance to just get enough food to eat, is a joke. We are going to be like today's version of the Roman Empire, and looked what happened to them.
If you're young, get the **** out as fast as you can.

AND YES!!! WHY ARE WE NOT HEARING ANYONE FROM THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY SCREAMING FROM THE ROOFTOPS!
