Since there's video of Chansley walking in through a door that was opened from the inside by Trump supporters who moments earlier busted in through a window, one can only surmise your belief that Chansley was "invited" in by guards is rooted in deception.

I mean, perhaps, or perhaps not. (needed). It is definitely a show, for one side or the other. A show of force necessary to calm the riot. A show that it won't go unpunished. A show that the Democrats who stand in solidarity with the protestors won't go unnoticed. And will not be allowed. I always would give way to the people who live there. Ask the business owners in the area, or the people getting looted, vandalized, whether they think local PD is sufficient to quell the rioting, and damage.

CHAZ happened: At this point, it all comes down to who is doing it, whether you support their stated goals, and which political side you happen to be on. And how the media wants to portray it.

ALL, as per the usual in this divided world we all live in.

It's a riot, to one extent or another that the LA and CA LEO brought under their control.

In the Rodney King verdict riots of 1992 31 people died, 1000 were injured and 3800 structures were set ablaze. This ain't that nor is this anything whatsoever like that. There's a huge difference which means troops are not needed nor are they desired in this situation.

Did trump tell him he was sending the crowd to the Capitol?

What evidence do you have that Milley and Pentagon officials knew he planned on sending the troops to the Capitol?

Need I inform you neither Milley nor Miller were members of the Capitol Police? I hope you realize this means when you said Trump told the Capitol Police to use any means necessary to keep the Capitol safe, everyone here sees you were full of shit.

And Trump telling Miller in front of Milley turned out to be fruitless, since despite Trump's responsibility to have the Guard present, they weren't. Trump was derelict of duty.
